The Epic Tale of the Hogwarts Food-fight by Gin_Drinka

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "Some mistakes are too much fun to make just once."

After Lily Evans, Head Girl of Hogwarts, starts a food-fight with James Potter, Head Boy of Hogwarts, they are both given detention for the rest of the year, and are assigned a 'detention journal', which the staff say will help to settle their 'overwhelming and disturbing differences'. We have come across Lily's journal; her take on why the whole affair ever started, her intriguing relationship with one ‘supreme git of the galaxy’, the extents to which she will go for revenge and where it will lead her...

"And if for some unknown reason you come across this, Potter, and the paragraph above does not manage to penetrate your unusually thick head and convince you of my stupendous dislike of you, I hope the following sentence helps: I HATE YOU!"

Always by Striped Candycane

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I can imagine what you would look like
after being kissed, your burning hair
halo-soft around your face, your lips
half parted, flaming, full...

A train to Nowhere. A cherry red umbrella. A brief brushing. One last chance. An acid green light. What could have been.

These are poems featuring Lily Evans and Severus Snape, told in the tragic hero's point of view.

Adversus Solem Ne Loquito by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Severus Snape goes back in time with one mission: to kill his younger self. The reason? So Lily Evans can live the life that she deserves. Because if he were dead, if he had never told Lord Voldemort the prophecy, then she would still be alive.

I am Hermione_Rocks of Slytherin House, writing for the fifth round of the Gauntlet.

Adversus Solem Ne Loquito is Latin for: Don’t speak against the sun.

Friends, Funerals… and Fred by FinnFiona

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

[Final warning: DH spoilers follow.] Three days after the final battle of Hogwarts, Harry must begin the painful task of attending the many funerals of the fallen. The first is perhaps the hardest, and Harry is focused on helping the Weasley family make it through the day—but maybe he still has a few things left to learn himself.

Author’s Note: I’ve read many a good story on the death of Fred Weasley, of whom I have always been very fond. Yet I think I needed to write my own version for that extra bit of closure. I hope you all enjoy, and maybe even experience a touch of catharsis yourselves. And as always, please leave a review! They're a huge help, and will all receive responses.

Dark Legend by Stubbornly_appeared

I am Stubbornly_appeared of Gryffindor, writing this final for cmwinter's NEWT Dark Art's class.

Will the Weasleys be able to convince George to come downstairs? Or will it take someone else to remind him that life is still worth living?

Green-Eyed Black by atkarid

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

The Triwizard Tournament is going to be hosted once again after twenty-three years and Ariel is going to find himself in the middle of it. He soon learns that in love and war anything goes and that things are not always what they appear. A story of jealousy, gossip, teenage hormones and first love. (Rated for later chapters)

QSQ Award for Best Male OC, Ariel Sachs

QSQ Nomination for best Same-Sex Pairing Fic

I can't thank enough my wonderful beta Lys. Without her this fic wouldn't be posible.

Counting to Five Thousand by Rhetor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: One decision leads to an army of consequences, and a lifetime is not too long to spend amending them.

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

Eggs and Soldiers by SiriuslyMental

In the Eyes of Others by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: Professors •

Winner of Mod Quicksilver Quill for Best Novel! Thanks, all!

Rating and warnings do not apply to all chapters; I just didn't want anyone hooked and then shocked.
"What is it?" His mother held out her hand, and he put the letter in it wordlessly. "Are you eleven already?"

His father lowered the newspaper to look at the calendar. "Yesterday. ‘Appy birthday." And that was the end of that.
