I am a proud Toaster! good ol' gryffs =D i am also a banner maker (the one floating overhead was made by yours truely, its Him, you'll have to read my story to find out who that is!!)
I've been reading mnff for ages now, but am only now writing my own story.
I will post updates here on how I'm getting along with it.

I've had an unhealthy obsession with Draco for far too long now =P
Severus and Sirius are also quite yummy.

Fanfic Info
~Tears of Lamis

It is my very first story =] a Draco/Luna dark romance set whilst they are still at school.

Prologue; Temptation - is up
Chapter 1; Stop the Memories - is up
Chapter 2; A Cry for Help - HAS BEEN VALIDATED!!! its up and ready to read!! ...and maybe a review would be lovely =D
Chapter 3; Searching - is being written at the moment

(for those of you not familiar with latin - myself included - lamis means vampire)

About the constant allusions to vampires, i may have a slight, obsession, and they do exist!! i hope anyway. Heres a random quote i found that i LOVE and in my mind nudges towards the existence of vampires -
"I have written my memoirs - but omitted all the really consequential and important parts - from deference to the dead - to the living - and to those who must be both"
Lord Byron, from Detached Thoughts
Byron also wrote a few poems about vampires and in a letter to his publisher he said
"But I hate things all fiction... there should always be some foundation of fact for the most airy fabric"

Yey they exist =D i'll stop ranting now
thanks for reading, and if you want to know any more just PM me on the forums, im under 'dracoslamis' on there as well.

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

Becoming a Dark Lord by FinalCow

Inbred by Sirenny

Smells Like Sirius Black by Soap

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Hermione Granger finds herself in an unusual place, an unusual time for that matter. Through an unintentional mishap, she is tossed right into the mix with James Potter, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and Sirius Black. Will she make it back to her own time without altering the future irreparably? And what will happen when she returns?

Sirius/Hermione

Thanks to everyone who nominated this story for a Quicksilver Quill, and congratulations to the winners!!

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

Keep Your Friends Close, but Your Enemies Closer by Buckbeak22

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Ron and Hermione are chosen to look after Draco and help him fit into the Muggle world after his magic has been taken away in retribution for his war crimes. Hermione, however, has been in a coma for five years after her marriage to Ron, and Draco has feelings for Ron. Add Harry to the mix and who ends up with who? Except that you know that already from the category. However, I hope I have enough to keep you reading anyway!

Take My Heart Away by Hatusu

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story

Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

Lacrima Serpentis by Insecurity

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This story is set in the dystopian society of Wizarding England under the control of Voldemort. Letter from Exile One Merciful Morning by Textualsphinx

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Oh how can I lure you to Read and Review?
When this was first penned all its clichés were new.
There’s angst laced with humour and tender enchantment,
The grammar and lexicon serve as enhancement.
And who could object to Snape’s wholesale redemption,
Or thoughts about sex – sufficient temptation?

PRACTICALLY THE OLDEST SNAPE-HERMIONE ON THE NET.

The Upside of Being Down by Kimberley

Rated: Professors •
Summary: *COMPLETED!*What happens when you put a hopelessly "romantic" man-hussy and a girl with a soft spot for bedtime activities (not THOSE activities, silly!) together in a dark bedroom? Well, I don't happen to know either, so I suppose we'll find out together, won't we? Come with me, Tia C. Spencer, on a lovely ride through the countryside... er, lakeside... okay, so we won't actually be riding NEXT to anything, but it will be lovely, I promise you that. How can it not be, with me as your illustrious (and quite possibly mad) companion?

And no, contrary to beliefs very likely impressed upon you by this summary, I'm not a gormless prat.

Well... not entirely.

Taints and Stains by musiclily88

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Just because Pansy is named after a flower and wears pink does not mean she is a simpering twit. She was, after all, sorted into Slytherin. She’s always been stronger than she looks. Draco may be spoiled and rich, but he’s also volatile and cruel. He may hide behind his image, but he has his image for a reason. This is story of revenge. Third and last chapter in queue.

In the midst of this chaos and hardship, Hermione is left feeling slightly disheartened. And in the end, a terrible decision is left to be made; one that no natural person would envy.
