I solemnly swear I am up to no good…

12 January 2008:
I'd like to wish a happy new year to everyone and, regrettably, inform you that I won't be writing a lot of fanfiction anymore. I don't have the time to contribute to it anymore and what time I do have I would like to put towards writing something original that hopefully you will all see on a Borders shelf someday. "Of the Cursed" will be deleted, and you can consider Harry's adventure to continue in a canon-like fashion from the end of "Cruciatus Cursed" onward. I'm so sorry, but thank you for your support, and I'm glad to have pleased you with most of my works. : )

Hello to you, fellow Harry Potter fans. I am Miss Moony, and welcome to my profile. There isn’t much to say about me, nor do I care to say a lot about myself anyway, so here are the important things that you might need to know for future reference if you care to read my stories:

I write only the following ships: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks.

My favourite characters are Remus Lupin (bet you never could have guessed), Sirius Black, and Snape.

My least favourite characters are Voldemort (go figure) and Dumbledore (I have my reasons).

My favourite HP books are Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix

Patience is a virtue that I do not possess. Therefore, if I can update quickly, trust me when I say I will.

I answer all reviews I receive. Period.

If you are bored and care to read an excellent fiction, may I suggest Nuw255, Tagidi Riva, Abbs866, or weasleybabe24? They are fantastic.

That’s about all at the moment, so I hope you enjoy my fictions and that you will leave a review if you have some time. I would really appreciate it. Below are some quotes that you may peruse for fun at your leisure if you are bored enough (as I collect a good many of them), and the banner for my first posted fiction, “Cruciatus Cursed”.

If you actually read this without getting bored and taking a break halfway through, then coming back to it later, I shall be quite impressed.

~Miss Moony

In A Nutshell by hearyoume

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Dumbledore is going senile, Ron's eating is out of control, and poor Hagrid... will he ever realize his true strength before he kills someone?? This starts off at the beginning of the school year and ends with a detailed account of how Harry finally defeats Lord Voldemort. I poke fun at stereotypes and clichés in fan fiction, and even joke about some things in the actual books. It’s pretty much everything – in a nutshell (or is it nuthouse?).

Casting Grouch by remus R us

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What if, all the world's a stage, and the characters of HP fan fiction are actors? This is the story of what happened between 'gigs', when characters meet in the Great Hall to share their complaints about how they're portrayed. Dumbledore has been rooted out of retirement after 'dying', James has doubts about Harry's paternity, Remus rants, and Voldemort does a Gilderoy.

In short, mayhem ensues.

These are not Jo's sterling characters. This group of players has been forced to enact some of the most atrocious parts in fan fiction-dom, and they're all primed and ready for the casting grouch.

Complicity by RagingStorm71117

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: AU afterthe release of HBP, one-shot ONLY. Given the choice between right and easy, Tonks chooses right... and saves Harry from a horrible fate.

Momentous Change by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It’s Harry’s last year at Hogwarts and as he has already expected – with experience in having troublesome adventures before – this year is going to be a year full of surprises. Voldemort has a plan! Chocolate frogs, ambiguous but semantic evil schemes, ominous word games, a succinct letter, incongruous French lecture, inexcusable slovenliness, birds and bees with eloquence, intolerable impatience and something goes terribly wrong… Now complete

Excerpt: Harry woke up with a start. He couldn't remember what he had dreamt about, but he knew it hadn't been a good dream - sweat made his hair cling to his forehead and his pyjamas clung to his body like a homeless person would cling on to a lamp post in a hurricane.

Insane by malko050987

Summary: What happens when Dumbledore has his latest "brilliant" idea, to start an advice column, and call it 'Dear Dumby'? Letters from some of our favourite Hogwarts students, some of our not so favourite Hogwarts students, some not even Hogwarts students at all, and, of course, lots of madness!

Pre-HBP for obvious reasons!

Savin' Me by Black_Pearl

He wanted to escape, had to escape. He wasn’t made for this. He was born to be free, born to live with the Potters. Born to live with James. But James, his best mate, was gone. Dead. Murdered.
