Hello!
I'm Neža, I'm 16 (getting old!) and I'm from Slovenia, so English isn't my first language. I used to hate fanfiction, because I was a canon-only fan, but that's obviously changed. Started with reading Marauder fanfiction, and whoever writes that, thanks, for you've introduced me to the wonderful wonderful world of fanfiction.

I'm a Hufflepuff at the forums and it's the best House ever!

My favourites:
Book: HP-HBP
film: Lord of the Rings (Return of the King)
colour: purple and blue, orange is also fun
TV show: Smallville, The Big Bang Theory, House, Criminal Minds... and I also looove cartoons.

Take My Heart Away by Hatusu

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story

An impossible one, she realizes, as a love between them grows stronger than anything she has ever known. Now Hermione has a choice to make. Will she condemn the Wizarding world to almost certain destruction, or will she take the life of the one boy she has ever loved?

Hey!

I just read this story in one go and it is so AMAZING. I bow to your awesomeness. Consider this like 19 enthusiastic reviews. I was too into the story to review each chapter.

Tom and Hermione were beautifully developed. The plot was just great and the dialogue was brilliant.

Right now I'm crying my eyes out; this last chapter was the saddest thing ever. It was a logical end that fits with my views of time travel, but it was so so sooo sad. You actually made Tom a likable enough character and even kept some of him in Voldemort. This story takes my heart away and breaks it. Great, great job.

In the Eyes of Others by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Severus has never seen the appeal of repetition, particularly of things that ended badly the first time. In his life, he has kept one pet, owned one broom, and had one close friend.

Winner of Mod Quicksilver Quill for Best Novel! Thanks, all!

Rating and warnings do not apply to all chapters; I just didn't want anyone hooked and then shocked.
"What is it?" His mother held out her hand, and he put the letter in it wordlessly. "Are you eleven already?"

His father lowered the newspaper to look at the calendar. "Yesterday. ‘Appy birthday." And that was the end of that.

hey! I really love all your Severus stories so far!
Loved this chapter, tho it's so sad to think they were nearly friends. Is Severus doing Legillimency already? Early talent indeed!
And, oh, is Remus' bully Vernon the Vernon? Dursley?
Absolutelly loved it. A great deal of missed chances in poor Sev's life.

Hey! I love this poem, because of your smart use of refrain of sorts, and it still all makes perfect, sad sence, and it gives the boem the feeling of being complete, and abit surreal... great work!

Hello!

I must say I read this story in one go and I was, still am, very impressed. Severus was spot-on, I loved Alicia and the Marauders. The plot was very original. I was shocked by the ending and now I'm off to read parts 2 and 3 to see what had happened.

You did a great job with every aspect of this fic. I hope you continue writing! And sorry I didn't review on each chapter, I was too caught up id the wonderful story.

~Nez

Author's Response: It\'s quite a compliment to hear that you were too caught up to review. I\'d rather you read it and enjoy it first. That\'s what it\'s there for. This is the cake. The comments are the icing. I hope you continue reading and enjoy parts 2 and 3 just as much. They are considerably longer. Part 3 is incomplete and is up to 450 pages already. Yeek! But it covers a lot of ground. Thanks again for the lovely review, Dani

Hey!

I really liked the beginning, and Narcissa's pleading seemed very real, like something she would really do.

Lucius kept up his image of a coldblooded aristocratic git, but it was good to see him shudder from time o time.

We seldomly stop to think that he is anything more than a strict father who only raises his son to keep the family name pure. Good job with making this a stop to think!
~Nez

Author's Response: I\'m really glad that you like it so much. I do my best to put my viewpoint into my writing and I\'m glad that it shows through. I\'ve always seen Lucius as an intriguing character who has more to him than it shows. Keep watching my profile, I WILL put up more. If you have any suggestions for future stories, email me. Thanks for leaving a review, :) Lana

A Different Sort of Peace by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: At some point there had to have been a choice.

The logical place to begin a story is at the point of the first decision. But what if there were no decisions? What if, at every point, there was only one possible act? What if the story simply cannot be told?

I really hope she told him all about his parents, cos Tonks and Lupin were great people!
Liked the part about Remus being a werewolf and having few friends because of that! (tho he had few friends, they were great friends.. James, Sirius......)

Author's Response: I loved Lupin and Tonks. Lupin was my second fave character too. Not trying to be mean to James and Sirius. I love them too. Man 6 reviews! Keep them coming people!

I totally love this poem. It's strong, and you portrayed his commitment to carry on with his promise, all for his Lily flower. Poor Severus, bet he has so many regrets. Nice rhyming, everything! Keep on the good work!
~Nez

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I too think that poor Severus has many regrets, and I really think it\'s such a pity that he did the things he did. Though he made up for all his past mistakes by protecting Harry (and on the occassion Harry\'s friends).

aww poor Lily! We were always thinking of what Harry lost, but you showed so well that Lily is hurting too! And that she is still with him. Sad, but good lol.
~Nez

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review! It really means alot. Yeah, I wanted to give an insight to what Lily may feel (and James). I mean not being there, for your only son? But I think that both she and James realized that they died not in vain, but for their son to have a chance to have a future. Again, thanks for the review!

Reviewer: Nez Signed
Date: 07/17/09 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

Hello,

I must say I enjoyed this story very much. Your Snape was quite as he should be, and I like your idea of an after-life. Also, Sirius being sent out to hug people must be the most amusing idea ever.

"He did this for a while, unsure how long because time had lost meaning in a way something as fundamental as time should not."

This is probably one of my favourite sentences in the entire story; it really captures the distress and desperation he feels.

Also, the notion of his world practically falling into place once he's met with Lily is a really nice one. And Dumbledore remains Dumbledore, in saying that there still is hope, even though slim, for Wormtail.

The only thing I didn't quite agree with is McGonnagal dying so early. I would have thought she would have lived longer.

So, all in all, a great story. Keep up the good work! :)

Night by Elphin

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: "He may well be the chosen one, but he is still my baby."

Lily and James Potter live every day fearing that the greatest dark wizard in the world will discover their secret. Knowing the threat that lies upon them, Lily reflects on how much it has affected their family.

Reviewer: Nez Signed
Date: 09/24/07 Title: Chapter 1: Night

Hello! I really liked that; you wrote it very realistically. The characters are very in-caracter; like how James would hold up his image of optimism at day, but at night, it would really get to him and how tired he looks. Lily's fears are also so very real and well-reasoned. Your story gives the feeling it was always there, and you just had to come along and write it down.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I think this is the most flattering review I\'ve ever gotten. :)

Wonders of the World by FullofLife

Hey!
Your story was very well written. I didn't quite expect Sev's outburst, but then again, he kept it buttled for too long. Both his and Lily's reactions are realistic. Overall, the story makes me want to hug the poor boy.

Oh, and another thing; I think you might want to put an abuse warning up?
Keep up the good work!
~Nez

Author's Response: I fixed the warnings, thanks for that! I know Snape\'s outburst was a little OOC but well, he had kept it in for a long time, and he was out stewing and didn\'t honestly want to be bothered... and he didn\'t want to tell Lily in case she thought he wasn\'t worth her friendship - and I considered that as a child, even Sev wouldn\'t have as much control over his emotions as he has when he is an adult. Thanks for reviewing though!

Wow, well done! It portrays Remus' emotion perfectly. My favourite absolute favourite part is this:

To make the world a better place,
Just so a smile could be etched across your face.
To wipe out all the evil and all the sorrow,
Just so you could have a better tomorrow.

So, a great poem again! And good luck in the future (=

Author's Response: Thank you very much for the kind review. I\'m so glad you think I portrayed Remus\' emotion well. I like that part too. I\'m so glad you reviewed, it\'s appreciated like always! Aww, your kind words are overwhelming, thanks. =) *gives you panda*

Wow. That was just - wow. Amazing. It brought tears to my eyes. You kept them both perfectly in character. It just seems so - them - to make a small promise like that and keep it for years. I love the way you start each part with "I'm sorry." and the last date, with nothing further, was sooo powerful.
Once again, amazingly done! (as always)
