I am really enjoying readinig your story. Decimus is a very likable character, and with a very Rowling-like name. Please keep updating it, even though there's some Book Seven Disregard in the plot.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! (And I started writing this story more than a year before book 7. Of COURSE it\'s going to be disregarded.

Wonderful story! Very well written - it could have come out of one of the Pensieve scenes in HBP.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really tried to make it realistic.

I was thinking it was about time somebody wrote about what D.A. was up to during book 7! This first chapter is very promising.

Author's Response: Thank you :) All through book 7 I was wondering what Neville and the others were doing, so I couldn\'t resist writing about them!

Very well written. I can't wait to read your next chapter!

Click! by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Before Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he is shown a group photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, back when it was his parents fighting against Voldemort.

But a photo doesn’t show their lives, their personalities, their every day conversations ... or how much organising can be needed to take one single photograph when you have a room full of people – especially when four of whom liked to call themselves “Marauders” back in their school days ...

Reviewer: Raven_in_Lion_House Signed
Date: 08/31/07 Title: Chapter 1: Click!

I completely agree that the part of OotP with the group photo of the first Order is quite sad. However, this story is great - it gives some background to it and makes it a little lighter, too.

Author's Response: I\'m glad you were able to see the darker side yet still enjoy the lighter ... that\'s what I was hoping would happen! Yay! Thanks for reviewing.

The Promise of Hope by solemnlyswear_x

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: In a world where Harry Potter failed to vanquish the Dark Lord, Muggle-born Clare Morgan must honor her binding contract as a servant to the Ashwood family. Abuse and struggle were expected when she arrived at the manor, but falling in love with her master’s son was not. A story of love, hardship, and the promise that hope brings.

I generally don't read stories in the Alternate Universe category, but I'm sure glad that decided to try this one! Your writing is fluent, and your characters, especially Gavin, are complex. Like other reviewers, I'd like to know a bit more background (especially about Muggle-borns replacing house-elves), but that is my only complaint. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Thanks! More of the background should keep coming up, possibly in the form of flashbacks. Thanks for reviewing! =)

Hogwarts Musical: Chamber of Secrets by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?

It better be just like this.

No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)

You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.

P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you very much!

The Unbreakable Vow by Hermione_Rocks

Very funny! I especially love the ending, where Mr. Weasley threatens to make the twins take an Unbreakable Vow to stop pranking.

Author's Response: I\'m glad you enjoyed, thanks for the review!

What a beautiful story! One question - why would a kid who was underage and not expected to go to Hogwarts have a wand? Other than that, the story was perfect. You captured Lupin's character, his worry about being a burden on and danger to others, really well.

Author's Response: Thanks! As for the wand thing, in my twisted mind he was homeschooled. I don\'t know, I never actually considered the fact that his werewolvity would make him unable to ever learn magic. I just thought, well, in real life if a kid can\'t attend school for whatever reason, they\'re homeschooled, so there you are. So\'s Remus. I might clarify that in the next chapter, thanks for the question! And thanks for a lovely review! Phia

Numquam Periit Amor by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the final battle, Andromeda goes to Hogwarts to find her daughter, meeting with others whom she did not expect to see along the way. Numquam Periit Amor is Latin for: Love never dies.

I like missing moments, but some are overdone. It's wonderful to find a story like yours that more original and beautifully written.

Author's Response: Yes, some missing moments are over-done . . . I may or may not be guilty of that. ;) Teehee. Anyway, I\'m glad you liked this and found it original, thanks for the review!

Gold by Starmaiden

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Neville Longbottom finally has a chance to do what he loves: work with plants. Will this chance be just that, or will it be something bigger?
Reviewer: Raven_in_Lion_House Signed
Date: 12/05/07 Title: Chapter 1: Gold

"When he stepped back down, another official handed him a small, heavy bag — fifty galleons in prize money. “Th-thank you,” Neville stammered. 'I — er — I’m honoured — it — did it really deserve that?'" Neville was so in character!

Anyways, you did a great job. I love a story where Neville shines, so I loved "In His Own Right". I'm so glad you wrote this very nice sequel to it.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks! I really became a lot more fond of Neville after writing all about him, and I\'m always glad to see him get his well-deserved recognition.

I've never read a story from a Muggle's point of view before, and I'm really enjoying it! The two plots really keep the story moving, and I'm wondering how the two will come together. I'm looking forward to the next update - you left us with a bit of a cliffhanger!

Curriculum Vitae by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Ever since the war ended, Theodore Nott has found little solace in anything, save for his Firewhiskey purchases. Due to happenings and circumstances, he runs into the most unlikely people and places, ones that may just be able to help him as he trundles along through life.

This is a story of pain, loss, regret, bitterness. This is a story of joy, laughter, forgiveness, hope. It's a story of second glances, second considerations, second chances. And first chances too. Curriculum Vitae is Latin for: The course of one’s life.

This story was the overall winner of the '07/'08 Winter Tales Challenge. It also took the 2009 QSQ award for Best Post-Hogwarts Chaptered story. I am as stunned as I am grateful. Thank you.

This is a fascinating story. It's a little darker than what I usually read *blushes*, but it's well worth it. I love the complexity, shaking my prejudices by showing a very different side of Slytherins than we usually see. Bravo!

Author's Response: I\'m so glad you like it. The Slytherins can\'t be all \"evil\", eh? ;) Thanks for the review!

Only Her, Always Her by solemnlyswear_x

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Severus Snape had been brewing potions since he was eleven, and had never found one he hated more than Amortentia.

What a lovely portrayal of Snape's love of Lily! You gave us (your readers) little glimses of his relationship with her in various phases of her life.

The perfect touch was Snape seeing Lily's body. It was original, and quite touching.

Just like Lily's eyes did for Snape, your story will haunt me. Unlike Snape, though, I'm glad it will.

Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you thought it was original, and while I don\'t want my story to haunt you, I\'m happy you\'ll remember it. =D
