Hey! My name is Chris. I'm sixteen years old, a Sophomore in High School once it starts, and I love to run. Harry Potter is probably my favorite book series ever, and I love writing fanfiction when I get the time. (Which unfortunately isn't very often and when I do it's in a notebook, not on here.)
I used to be more into humor fics, but I'm starting to read L/J more. I read Marauder Era fics a lot, too. I'm obsessed with the Marauders and Lily Evans. I loved the Phoenix movie, but I could still make a very long list of things I didn't like about it. I was crushed that they cut out Snape's Worst Memory, but then again, if they wouldn't have I would have been more dissappointed that Sirius and James weren't cute.

I love my friends. I can trust several of them with just about anything. I trust them more than it is probably a good idea to trust most people. They could blackmail me if they wanted to. Luckily, they don't. I really appreciate how comfortable some of my guy friends and I are. They'll lean over and whisper "she's hot!" without a second thought about it. I really appreciate it when their next comment is "but her skirt is too short." They resect me, and vise-versa. I know they'd respect me enough to tell me if MY shorts were a little too short.

As far as boks, other than HP, I love, love, LOVE the Left Behind and Left Behind serieses. They're the awesomest ever :) I'm always reading something, but that's my thing right now :)

My favorite Movie (debaitably) after the Phoenix and GoF would have to be the Pirates of the Carribean (The Black Pearl). The second one was great and I totally loved it, but the 1st was just better. Also, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom... They are amazing. Haha.

I love Contemporary Christian and Country music. Casting Crowns is with no doubt my favorite band in the history of the universe, and Jeremy Camp is a close second.
I've gotta live in the smallest town in Ohio, and our K-12 school is really little. This year I'm running track and cross country again. CC is the awesomest sport ever in the history of awesome sports. I love how close we all are on the team.

I play trumpet in the marching band and I'm in the Science Olympiad, which pretty much makes me the biggest geek ever, but I'm okay with that. At least most of my friends are on the teams.

Random fact about me- I spelled my name wrong on the morning of the spelling bee last year.

BOOKS & MOVIES

Did you cry when Sirius died? Almost. I had a huge bloody blister looking thing on my lip from chewing on it and it wouldn't go away for a couple weeks.
What about Dumbledore? I was devastated. Ditto the lip thing that nobody wanted to know.
Do you like the movies as much as the books? No, but I loved the GoF and Phoenix movies.
Hottest HP actor? Tom Felton and Robert Pattinson.
What scene did they leave out in the movie you wish they hadn't? I can never decide if I wanted them to cut Snape's Worst Memory or not becuase it's my favorite scene in book 5 and maybe even in the first 6 books, but I havent sen it yet (anxious for the DVD to come out!), so I can't make that call yet. **My DVD doesn't have special features... does anyone else's??
Favorite movie moment? Hermione just being annoying in the 1st one. Or Ron just being an idiot. That's always fun :) Then maybe after the 2nd task in the Gof. Hermione was really funny there, too :)
Least favorite movie moment? Whenever Dumbledore is there after the first 2 movies. It's not just a differant actor, they made him a hippie. Gag me. I mean, he has jingle bells in his beard, and you can hear them when he talks.
Favorite character in movie? Today it is Alan Rickman as Snape. (That might change tomorrow, I can never decide.) I'm a little nervous about him in the DH movie though. I just can't picture him in (spoiler!) his death scene ("Look at me") or sobbing in Dumbledore's office, devistated over Lily's death. I hope he'll suprise me and pull it off wonderfully. :)
Favorite Movie? Mmmmm... I'd have to say Phoenix. I loved it so much :)

Right now, I'm writing my 1st fic- "Hard to Find, Difficult to Leave, Impossible to Forget". I suprized myself by writing a romance fic (It's L/J). I never do stuff like that. I'm such a tomboy. :) It took me ages to finally be satisfied with the way my 1st chapter ended up, but I'm getting there. My life is incredibly hectic, but it's summer, so my schedule is slowed down a little. I'll try to type up the rest of it quicker than I have been :) Oh, and thank you to my wonderful beta, Emily. She's so awesome :) Thanks so much, Emmi :)

Well, that was practically a book right there :) I'll shut up for now :)

A Few Detentions and A Story by LaneTechFreshie

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James Potter: Marauder. Lily Evans: Prefect. They're both seventh years at Hogwarts. They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.

Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!

Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)

Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
And yes, this story is up on Fanficition.net under the penname: Io.Sono.Emilia.
Of course, as a disclaimer, I’m not JK Rowling. The Potterverse does not belong to me, but I am in it and love it.

I laughed, I cried... but mostyl I laughed. :) Me, just reading reviews. That was the end of that quote :)

Author's Response: So....you\'re reading other reviewers\' reviews? Interesting....HEhe.

:) Cute! But it's starting to sound like you're wrapping this up. Sad, sad, sad :) Wow, I even smile when I say how sad something is. How pathetic :) There I go again...

Author's Response: No, I\'m not wrapping it up yet. Nope nope. I\'ve got quite few chapters left. DOn\'t worry. Hehe. Smilings fun. You know, it takes more muscles to frown then it does to smile? So, technically, everyone should be smiling. And i know I\'m smiling ever since I saw \'501\' reviews. *happy dance*

:) Cute! I liked that :) Ugh, there are flies all over my house. It needs to be winter so they all die. I hate flies. Yeah, that was random. Oh well. Good chapter :)

Author's Response: ARGH! I hate flies too...now fun b/c they get all over the screen when I\'m trying to type...Grrr. Or at least, there\'s one, and that\'s even worse then a whole bunch. Thank you, anyway!

:) Happy happy joy :) Yea, I like feel-good chapters... but the ones where everything falls apart and everybody is miserable are almost more fun to write. But I hate to admit that... O well, good chapter :)

Author's Response: Haha. I can see why you would feel that. Though, I love writing the parts where it\'s just constant laughter. hahaa. Thanks much!

If the Sltherin seeker caught the snitch, whow did Slytherin have only 120 points?? But that was sooo sweet! I really enjoyed it. Especailly this chapter, but all of it has been wonderful. I've been following this since about chapter ten came out, and I've really enjoyed it. I'll be sad to se it go :) keep writing even when this one is over, okay?
:)

Author's Response: Oh wow! Haven\'t heard from you in a while. :-) Cory, the Gryff Keeper, only let in one Slytherin Quaffle, so that\'s ten points, and then the Snitch was worth... Oop. I\'ve found my mistake. Thank you!!!! The Snitch is worth 150 pts, not 110. I don\'t know why I always thought it was 110. OI! Let\'s recount this..... *computes* All right- Slytherin gets 160 points, Gryff gets 300. So, end score: S:710, G:801 THANKS SOOO MUCH for that. Check out the end of the chapter: you\'ll see your name. :-D And I will definetly keep writing- as long as it does cut into school work. Oi. Thanks for sticking with it!

That was sweet! I loved it! Shorter, but it wasn't bad. You need that to keep it all tied.

Author's Response: I\'m sorry, It was short. Grr I\'m glad, though, that it kept the story \"tied\". :-)

That was awesome! I loved it! It was really sad, which is good, I guess, because if I was completly happy and joyful after I read this then you wouldn't be that awesome of an author :) But yeah, this was great, I loved it! :)

Author's Response: Good. I\'m glad that it was just sad enough. I don\'t think I would\'ve been a good author either. Yay!

That was a neat chapter :) Christmas presants for James... mmm... well... Ah, I'm at a loss. I managed to avoid having to deal with that in my story, so I'm really completly without ideas. Sorry :)

Author's Response: HAHA! Smooth. I can\'t escape it, so I\'ll need to do it. *sigh* Thanks though.

That was great! Very believable :) I just can't see how you get your chapters up so fast... I'm in good shape if I get mine up in 3 months :)

Author's Response: Fast? They\'re fast? Really. Whoa. I\'m glad that they were believable. I would\'ve hated it if it was unbelievable and icky. Thanks much!

... :(...
That was sad. And scary there at the end. But I'm not shouting :) Or even crying :) Definately don't hate you :) That was a good chapter. Sad. But pretty good :)

Author's Response: *phew* I\'m happy. Well, as happy as I can be. Hehe. Thank you much!

I hated Stacy, but now I'm bummed she's gone. *sniff* That was really good :) I liked it :) No complaints, though most people appreciate criticism... can't think of any :) O well.

Author's Response: Thanks very much. I\'m glad you\'re feeling some sympathy towards Stacey. I kinda wish too, now that you mentioned it, that she had stayed around too. Oh well. I\'m glad you loved it!

That was great! I loved it (in a depressing sort of way)! That was so terribly sad!! Dark/Angsty isn't my thing, but I liked this (In a depressing sort of way). I'm far too cheerful, anyway... :) Great story!

Author's Response: Yes, you are a very cheerful person. lol. But then again so am I. I just had to write a last battle fic before I exploded. You know? I don't know, maybe it's just me. But I just HAD to. We were reading Chaucer in school and those quotes spoke to me. They just told me to, in a nutshell, write this fic. ha ha. Sorry it's kinda depressing!! :)) -Mary Kate
