Hi! I'm Kate, your resident nerd, bookworm, band geek, chorus geek, and writer! I am a Ravenclaw over on the forums, you'd know me as th_poet14. I also beta and duel, and I finally broke into the bannermaking business!
In real life, I'm in high school, where I play tennis, flute, piano (a little) sing, and am the resident bookworm, reading about a book a day, sometimes less.
And that's about all I think you would care about, although most of you are probably skipping this to find my stories. Sorry about boring you!

As I am writing this, I have noticed that there is a large box of Honeydukes chocolate underneath James’ bed. Why has he not shared them? We always share our stuff.
Or maybe, he has told Sirius and Peter, but is keeping them a secret from me. Why would he do that?
Oh yeah, he knew I would eat them at the first opportunity. I think I may have one, just out of spite.
Whoops, James just discovered me eating his chocolates, and, to be frank, there were not a lot left when he found me, though I am sure I only had one or two… He says I have to pay for a new box, the original having been a birthday present for Sirius. I do not think that I can afford a new box, not if I get Sirius a present too. Oh, no.

The Unexplained Files by Ron x Hermione
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: After the last battle Ron and Hermione started a relationship. But Ron's love for being an Auror soon surpasses Hermione, and they break it off, both heartbroken and discouraged. Hermione’s love for books has obscured her mind, and she soon discovers a tiny shop on the outskirts of Muggle London to establish a bookstore, a place where she can wield her own adoration as well as assist others in theirs. She leaves the magical world and all of the friends she's made behind with it. She hides her wand in a box under bed, away from any harm or pretense to use it. Fairly soon, what had started out as a shop that many thought would go out of business in weeks had established itself as a very worthwhile enterprise. Mark, Hermione's boyfriend, is constantly toying with her nerves, his abusive and whiny persona taking its toll on her life.
On a very important date in Muggle London, Mark proposes to Hermione under the oddest of circumstances, and Hermione glimpses Ron for the first time in nearly a year. Her love for him causes Mark to be outraged, and they leave the scene they have made in shambles.
Ron and Hermione are soon dating again, now that their lives have settled and their jobs are at ease. All is going well until Hermione begins to show signs of sickness. Bruises are forming on her body and she can't make out where they came from. She dismisses them and blames it on clumsiness, but the headaches become worse and worse until one day she finally collapses and is taken to St. Mungo's.
Hermione's illness turns out to be worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Will she be able to overcome it, and will true love prevail it all?
This is a new and improved, revamped version of this story. It has been rewritten halfway in compliance with DH. The older story, with all of its lovely reviews, have been regretfully deleted to make room for this version. Enjoy!

Great story! I love the way you've rewritten it to show more of her relationship with Mark. The only problem I could find is that
...visiting her as well to bring soup, daunting on her every hand and foot as if she were a child...
The word daunting doesn't really seem to fit here; a better word might be doting.

Follow Emma through her awkward adventures told in her usual insane way, as she experiences angst, hilarity, obnoxiously strange people, misadventures involving a deceptively dashing cad, Haley's wedding, the birth of Ted and Ivy's baby, and her own eventual descent into LURRRVE.
Written for the marvellous Vindictus Viridian's Pride and Prejudice NEWTs class on the Fanfiction Beta Boards, based on Jane Austen's fantastic novel, "Pride and Prejudice.".
