Right. It's been an awful long time since I updated this. For the most part, I've relocated to a fanfiction site where I can post for all of my fandoms. I have been visiting back here occasionally, to follow a few authors and stories.
Originally, I was intending to also post my Harry Potter stories here. Well, I tried that, and I ended up being reduced to tears, because I found the process so damn difficult. So if you want to read my stories, I suggest you go over to fanfiction.net. I'm Kiryn pretty much everywhere on the net.

So here's a little more information about me. More in-depth details can be found on my ffnet profile. Seriously, that thing is a BEAST.
My favorite HP character is, hands down forever and always, Sirius Black. *glances up* That's why pretty much all of my HP fics are somewhat Sirius-centric. Other favorite characters include Gellert Grindelwald, Regulus Black, Draco Malfoy, Remus Lupin, Harry Potter, James Potter, Lily Evans Potter, Luna Lovegood, Albus Dumbledore, Aberforth Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall, Phineas Nigellus Black, Amelia Bones, Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody, Hedwig, etc.
My most favorite "genre", time period or whatever, in all of HP is, kind of obviously, the Marauders' Era.
My OTP of this fandom is, hands down, no question, Remus/Sirius.
(Notice the trend? Hint: it's all about Sirius, baby.)
My other favorite ships include Grindelwald/Dumbledore, James/Lily, Regulus/Lily, Harry/Luna, Draco/Hermione, Percy/Oliver, Scorpius/Lily Luna, and various others. Basically, I'll read anything that isn't on my "sink" list. And that doesn't break up my OTP. I'm afraid I've grown far too attached to it.
My most hated character in all of HP: Dolores Umbridge. But that's a no-brainer, huh?
The pairings that I "sink" (i.e. I cannot stand them): Harry/Severus, Draco/Ginny, Remus/Lily, Severus/any Marauders, Severus/Regulus, Dumbledore/anyone but Grindelwald, and requited Severus/Lily.
Other things that I frown upon: Any form of character bashing, but most especially Dumbledore bashing. And Weasley bashing to a more minor degree. But Dumbledore hate drives me right up the wall. Also, I can't stand OOC Blacks, and I hate the Sev/Lily shippers who take the James-bashing too far. :/

In Muggle World by Daedalus Plum

Gillian finds herself wishing daily that there was more to the world in which she lives. Something more fantastic and wondrous, as she sometimes believes there is. As circumstances would have it, she meets Harry Potter, that strange boy who's nothing but trouble. It's rumored he spends the school year at St. Brutus' Institute for Incurably Criminal Boys. At first she's terrified of him, but even lies that conceal one of the world's greatest secrets can't keep at bay her curiosity and longing for something greater. A bond is formed between her and Harry that not all the magic in the world can conceal. And as more about the world is revealed, the question arises: is she a Muggle or Squib?

Overall, a very good fic, and I hope you update soon! And I was wondering, Ted as in Ted Tonks? Or is Ted just a wizard stationed there to keep an eye on wizarding affects on Muggles? Either way, I like how he says that Harry Potter is a disturbed boy, because it fits with both his Privet Drive image, and the way the Ministry's currently making him out to be a liar. Again, great job!

The whole Dark Mark thing didn't really surprise me. Lily mentioned earlier that the last part of their kidnapping was like training, so I assumed they were being trained to be Death Eaters, and the last 5 would walk free as Death Eaters.
I am curious as to whether Ted came to them because he wants their help or because he's under orders to kill/take them back. And I'm glad that Emma's coming out of her depression, but I can only guess at what she'll do when she finds out.
Run like the wind, James! Hurry back to defend Lily just in case!
You had better get updated soon, and not just with this story. Oh, did I mention that you are the best writer on this site and I love most of your stories?

I know what I want to happen, but I'm always wrong about how many chapters it will take to actually write it all. If I had to guess a minimum (which means it'll probably be a few chapters more than this) I'd say . . . oh . . . four plus an epilogue? But bear in mind, this is only a rough estimate! I think you should go all the way, as I really want to see how you portray Peter's betrayal. I like the fact that in your fic Peter isn't worthless, and I want to see your interpretation. Hope you've gotten past your writer's block!
Author's Response: I\'m going all the way with this. It was actually originally supposed to end with the deaths of Lily and James, but after DH, there\'s a new ending. Peter\'s betrayal, that\'s going to be interesting to write, hopefully you like my interpretation (which I have no idea of how I\'m doing it...). Ah, writer\'s block is almost over, I\'m just waiting to get my new laptop at my freshmen orientation at my college, then it\'s writing time and you\'ll get tons of new chapters! Thanks for reading!
