Hello everyone! My name is Dylan and I am 16 years old. And for the record... I am a girl. Some people get confused... Dylan is usually a boy's name... Anyway. Some things about me:
- I have read Harry Potter more times than I can count
- I went to the midnight release of the 6th movie and to both parts of 7
- I love musicals, but suck at singing
- My friends and I make movies... a lot
- I have a pet bunny
- I am going to be a junior
- I am obsessed with Tiny Wings
- I love my HP soundtracks
- There is a picture of a door on my door
- I watch The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Community, Parks and Rec, Gossip Girl, The Newsroom, and Doctor Who
- I always dress up as a Gryffindor for Halloween
- I'm sorta addicted to youtube
- The Vlogbrothers are my heroes
- My favorite band is Fountains of Wayne
- I love British Television like The Inbetweeners, Sherlock, and The Office (UK)
- Currently, my favorite non HP movie is V For Vendetta
- I'm very interested in films and I want to be a film major in college
- I write mostly James/Lily, but I want to try some other genres
I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter.
Right now, I am working on two chaptered fics-
Snowflakes:
Lily and her muggle friends go to a ski resort over summer holiday and James turns up with Sirius Black. They have some good fun and run from some Death Eaters and get up to shenanigans ;)
The Marauder's Map to a Gryffindor's Heart:
I started this a while ago, so it really isn't the best piece of writing... but I do like the story, so I will probably continue. Ten chapters have been written (from about three years ago) so I hope to edit them and hopefully get them on this site! This one basically follows the Marauders through their years at school. Don't expect much character development, since I wrote this when I was about twelve. At least until I get past the first ten chapters :P
Then there's a one-shot!
The Sorting Hat Put Me in Slytherin:
This one shows what might have happened if Harry had become friends with Malfoy... *shutters* It has a lot more to do with Harry's character and all that deep stuff. Enjoy :D

Summary: It is June 1976 and The Marauders are at the top of their game. From the outside they look to have everything.But appearances, as the saying goes, can be deceptive.
James is discovering that not everything in life is his for the taking. Sirius knows he will have to defy his formidable family. Remus lives in constant fear of his life beyond Hogwarts. As for Peter... Well, Peter is struggling to live up to his friends.
The ties of friendship are strong, but war is raging and with a dark power rising those ties will inevitably fray.
Added to the mix is an adversary called Severus Snape, some lost House Points, a prank or two and a whole lot of Lily.
This is a Marauder tale.

This is a story of why it started to go wrong for The Lions of Gryffindor.

**UPDATE:** I am sorry for taking such a long break. I am now rewriting the story from a third person perspective because I just feel it is my stronger style and I feel I could not describe things the way I wanted to simply from Hermione's eyes, especially because she could not know Draco's thoughts, which I would like to include. I hope to finish the new Prologue in a few days and hopefully it will be validated quickly. I will probably just delete the current chapters as soon as the new version is accepted. Author's Response: I'm so glad you like the story! I've written Draco/Ginny so I couldn't write Scorpius/Lily (too squicky for me, lol) but there's no reason you shouldn't. I would think twice about changing Scorpius' age. In canon he's two years older than Lily, and I think readers would go for a hook up between a seventh year and a fifth year over Scorpius becoming two years younger. Changing canon makes a story AU, and that can turn off some readers. Not that you can't do it anyway, :D, but I can't help wanting stories to appeal to the widest audience possible. I've written AU stories (although if Jo hadn't come out with that family tree my George/Alicia would have been canon compliant, lol) and always tried to stay as true to canon as possible, so I'm not against AU as much as for not putting off prospective readers if possible. :D Keep writing and good luck!
