I'm Maddie. I'm 16 and from New York.

To anyone who received an email regarding A Secondhand Life,
It's the first and last. I'm not pestering for reviews, I just thought that after such a long time, I'd go back and see if anyone who at one point showed interest was willing to come back and read more.

Click here to read my first and only drabble!
It won second place in the Hufflepuff common room. Christmas-themed, post-DH, rated G. Features Albus, James, and Harry.

Wanna do me a favor? Got a myspace? Add Scarlet Thunder my band! If not just listen to our stuff. Thanks!

I like it. It shows James is still the same person, just a little more mature. I like Lily's reaction too. It shows she's accepting this new James a little. Great chapter!! ♥

Practice Makes...Perfect? by Phoenix5225

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: This was written in response to the Hufflepuff April Fools Humor stories as requested in the common room. This particular story was written for HP_Ber, who requested her story be written on the topic of a misunderstanding. Ron/Hermione romance.

That was so funny, so cute, and so like Ron. I was confused a little by Harry saying his pillow was Cho. Do you mean he practiced on the pillow pretending it was her, and now the image stuck? Anyway, great story!!

Dear Mrs. Potter... by DaisyMaeEvans

Wow, I totally love this. It's so original and funny. Great job.

Ron's Point Of View by Invaderk

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is my second time trying to post this story, so I wish myself luck. Anyway, This story is based on Ron's thoughts and memories, and takes place at the wedding that is happening in book 7. Obviously, there are HBP spoilers. This is one of my favorites, and I hope you like it, too!

Happy Reading!

P.S. My rating is to be safe, seeing as I have a hard time rating things. There's no lemon or anything like that.

Letters by Sarah Kavanagh

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Lily thought she was in for a boring summer... but James Potter had other ideas. Love Letters, with a rather bizarre twist.

Tehe; hysterical, original, interesting, brilliant, witty, cute. Love, love, love. (So sorry for my lack of complete sentences. I absolutely loved it.)

The letters are very cute, especially James's to Lily's mother. Nice chapter.

Sa-weet chapter. Good job, although the ending was slighlty confusing...

A Furry Little Problem by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The young and bored Sirius Black amuses himself with the top hat in his closet, inspired by the nefarious influence of Muggle television. **Warning -- natural rabbit behaviour within**

Date: 07/29/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Haha, lightly funny and quite amusing. Another wonderful one-shot! Great job!

Life As A Girl by blueshock

Hmmm, interesting idea....can't wait to see how it goes!!

Senses by Gryffinpuff

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.

Ack, this once is just as good as the last chapter. ::Sigh:: I love Harry/Ginny. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you, again!

Eek, such trickery! I, among others, I presume, was expecting Voldemort. Ah, well, nice chapter anyway. Snape is certainly interesting. Nice job.

Author's Response: That was my goal, evil author that I am. And Snape is just as bad as Volde on levels, as you\'ll find out...

I like how you switch between their points of view. Very well done. Poor percy. Anyway, kudos to you :]

Author's Response: I enjoy the switching. It\'s a pain to write but quite effective with the telling of the story =)

Nice chapter, although in the beginning, technically the correct word is "Disapparate" since he is leaving. Otherwise, great job!

Author's Response: Yea, I\'ve always been a bit dubious as to the Disapparate and Apparate debate. Technically the guy departing was doing the act of Apparation, so Disapparate would therefore apply the same was as Apparate depending on the perspective of action...

Argh! My nails are too short because I've already bit them to pieces. Ew. But yeah. This chapter is made of win and awesome. A great Ron/Hermione moment. Good job.

Author's Response: Save some of those nails for later!

Eek! Harry talks like a really smart adult, not a seventeen-year-old guy. Great chapter. Nice cliffhanger, too.

Author's Response: Yea, I went back and reread and Harry does sound a bit mature at times... but honestly I think after Dumbledore dies he skips the remaining teenage years and is completely an adult (and I talked that way when I was 17, so it doesnt seem like that big a stretch to me!) ;)

Eekles, everything is falling into place. Possibly my favorite chapter in this story yet. Brilliant job.

Author's Response: Thank you

Everybody Does It by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: *Runner Up in the 2006 Annual Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Dark/Angsty*

It's the one thing everyone must do. You can't avoid it, you can't bargain with it, you just do it. It hurts sometimes, hell, it hurts most of the time, but it's also the most natural thing in the world. One of those rare things that makes us human.

This story is included in the Epilogues story arc, however it is a side story that can be read at just about any time. it is most favorable, however, to wait until reading Epilogues Part I for certain thematic reasons.

This is the saddest story I've ever read, and yet one of the most brilliant. I was crying, because it was so sorrowful and so meaningful. I loved it. Words can't even explain what this story did to me. I do have one concern though: Tom is an interesting name for Harry's son. Just a thought. Anyway, most amazing story ever. I love all your stories, most of them are on my favorite's list, and you're on my favorite authors list as well. Beautiful story. ♥♥♥♥

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Tom\'s name really the insight from that comes from Epilogues 1 in which Harry comes to terms with Voldemort, and everything that turned Tom Riddle into the most feared wizard of his age. With those who like my stories, there\'s a lot of discussion as to why I named him Tom. The short answer is I consciously did it because it was kind of a way of honoring the boy Tom Riddle, the one who could have grown up to do great things had he not had the hand dealt against him that he did. But there are lots of other factors in there. For the most detailed explanation, I would recommend you checking out my LiveJournal, which you can get to from my author\'s page. You\'ll have to go to the beginning of it though as it\'s an old entry, and there\'s been a lot of chicanary since then.

Epilogues, Part I: Shadows by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The war is over, and Voldemort is dead, but the aftermath isn't what Harry had intended it to be. Amid feelings he himself cannot explain, he flees to Muggle London. Can he overcome his inner demons and lead something other than the shadow of a life his existence has become?

Actually the third story in the Epilogues story arc. If you have yet to do so, please read Right Here and One Good Day prior to reading this. Upon completion of this story, you can move on to Epilogues Part II.

Aw gee, what a chapter!! Again, at the end of this story, like the other one, there was more rent songs!! I kept singing "Without You" from Rent while I read the scene between Harry and Ginny. It was sooooo good.Like, really, really, really good. This is a totally awesome series. Kudos to you!!!

Author's Response: Thank you... Damn, I need to remember to ask my girlfriend about Rent because after all the references to it from you, I need to hear this soundtrack. Well, it\'s been a pleasure reading all of your reviews, and not only do I hope you\'ll stay with me through Part II, but I\'m hoping I\'ll finish it for you... Also, I\'m very sorry it took so long to respond to this review.
