Lucky by Maple_and_PheonixFeather

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Late at night, Lily reflects on how lucky she really is.
Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 07/20/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Awww. I write Scorose, but I do love a well written Scilily. And I like the twins' names.

Author's Response: Thank you :) I spent a lot of time googling constellations :p

Flying with Dragons by epiphany212

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Oliver Wood to Harry Potter: "I wouldn’t be surprised if you turn out better than Charlie Weasley, and he could have played for England if he hadn't gone off chasing dragons."

So how exactly did Charlie decide between Quidditch and dragon-keeping, after all?
Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 07/30/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

I thought that this was a good way to portray Charlie. I have always wondered why he didn't go into professional Quidditch. Excellent story. Do you plan on writing a sequel?

Author's Response: I hadn't thought about a sequel at all--honestly, this story was inspired by a drabble prompt in the Three Broomsticks' Summer Dream/Nightmare Challenge, so it's already grown so much in terms of length/plot than I had originally anticipated. But never say never... who knows what bunnies will come hopping into my mind someday? :) Thanks for reading and reviewing!

How to be Beautiful by BrokenPromise

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Narcissa Black and Lucius Malfoy were put on earth for each other: the most perfect soulmate the other could find. But life wasn’t going to make it easy for them…

This is a story of young love, stubbornness, misunderstanding and forgiveness. This is the story of them.

I have upped the rating for later chapters. However, most warnings are for milder instances.

Date: 08/03/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: My infatuation with a certain Prefect

Oh my. Very good so far. I love what you've done with Cissa. Can't wait to see the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks Krista. Next chapter is from Lucius' perspective, so that could be interesting...

Stolen Magic by coolh5000

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

Samuel Radley is a wizard born without magic. Coming from a family with generations of witches and wizards, his brother Adrian has never really understood why Samuel has been left without, especially when there are others, with no magical blood at all, who somehow find themselves able to do magic. As he enters his fourth year at Hogwarts, it seems that the Ministry are finally starting to do something about this imbalance and Adrian couldn't be happier. All around him however, there is resistance to the new laws, and suddenly Adrian finds himself an outsider in his class and abandoned by his friends, when all he's ever done is love his family.

This is coolh5000 of Slytherin writing in the Great Hall chaptered challenge, for the Phoenix Rising prompt. I am pleased to say this story won in its section!

I am also really thrilled to say that Adrian Radley won the Chaptered QSQ for Best Original Character 2013! The story was also nominated in the Best General category.

Sorry I haven't reviewed before. Great story. And right after that last line: Oliver Wood woke up rather outraged at his last dream: Snape had cancelled Quidditch. Sorry, had to say that.

Author's Response: Haha, I wish! Thanks for the review :) ~coolh5000

The Promise by savvy33

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: After a year of separation, Harry sees Ginny. His emotions rise up, and before he knows it, there's a confrontation...

This is only rated 6th-7th for the profanity, although there's not much.
Reviewer: Lost_Robin Signed
Date: 08/16/12 Title: Chapter 1: The Promise

I don't quite understand why you put the EWE warning in. This could have fit in canon. Good story.

Little Angel Wings by Ginny Weasley Potter

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Ron and Hermione have a normal married life, complete with the good and bad moments: they have the small fights, the passionate kisses and every other thing that a normal marriage consists of. They can handle anything together and a slightly sick son is no problem at all.

But then it becomes a big problem. Hugo is not just ‘slightly sick’ anymore. He has something bigger and much worse than anything Ron or Hermione could ever imagine. And that is when the normalcy of their marriage truly begins to be tested as their ‘small fights’ no longer remain so.

Will they get out of this without any permanent damage, and most importantly, will they get out of it with two children instead of just one?

This is Ginny Weasley Potter of Hufflepuff house writing for the ‘Bonded’ prompt of the Great Hall chapter challenge. Nominated for the 2013 QSQ awards in the best canon romance catergory!

Cookies for not killing Hugo! I'm so happy Hermione and Ron stay together. And Rose is adorable and mischievous all at the same time. Great job!

Oh my. Written very well. I feel so sorry for Hermione especially. I hope Hugo gets better soon and Hermione and Ron stay together, but knowing the prompt...

Author's Response: Oh, thank you so very much! :) I hink I feel equally forry for both Ron and Hermione. They don't deserve this. :( Hugo? Ron and Hermione? I MIGHT have forgotten to add a warning or two, you know... Thank you for the review! :)

The Ghosts That Follow by Nagini Riddle

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Haunted memories are as the ghosts that follow...

Merope's life takes a different path when she meets Abraxas Malfoy, a rich young man who promises to help her out of her situation. But when she arrives at the designated place to meet, he isn't there, and all she can see is a ghastly green potion beckoning her to step forward and drink.

Consuming the potion leads her into another world, where marbled structures speak in Delphic tongues, forests hold the mind prisoner, and poisonous bugs stalk their victims.

But that isn't all. She comes to the realization that perhaps memories and experiences are naught but deceitful apparitions meant to drag her soul down into endless misery. It is then that she must make a decision - give in or simply give up.

This is Nagini Riddle of Gryffindor, writing for Round 9 of the Gauntlet.
