er...... nothing really. *sigh* I'm so boring.
*update* I am now not so incredibly boring!!! I've written a fan fic called 'But I do love you'!!! So I am now an "author". I feel special. :)
*update 2* And four years later, I'm back! I'm surprised I didn't mention this previously, but I'm in love with the Marauder Era and anything to do with it. I'm especially found of LIly/James fanfiction :D
OoOo can't wait for the next part!! Ehehe, more soon? :)
awesome start! I can't wait to for the next part!!
gah, who screamed? This is really good, and now I can't wait for the middle action-packed part! :)
Very funny! I like how they're in their third year and Lily has a cousin, that's cool. Can't wait for the next bit :)
*sings* Here comes the bride... Awwww that was so sweet!!! I loved it! How James was all nervous and then he saw Lily and was all "WOW!' *glares at Pettigrew* YOU RUINED THAT YOU HORRIBLE PIECE OF.... *catches self* Er.... sorry... So yes, I loved it! Plese post more soon ^_^
Aw, Snape was pretty sweet!! And yeah, you'd think Sirius would be a bit more understanding considering what his family is like. Lily was right to tell them off! I can't wait for the next chapter :)
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked Snape - I've posted this before, and been surprised by the number of people who think the idea of a friendship (not a relationship, just a friendship) between him and Lily is ludicrous. I've always viewed Lily as a friendly person who looks out for others, and so I liked the idea; I'm glad you agree with me!
And yes, Sirius really could have been a lot more understanding. I actually have rewritten that scene from his point of view (and James's, and Severus's), and I'm considering posting it, so if you're interested, please leave a response saying so, and I'll post them as another story.
Thanks so much for replying - I really appreciate it!
Oh god, poor Lily!! Ehehehe, I don't know if the door thing was meant ot be funny... but it was! lol
Can't wait for more!!!!!!!! Will it be soon? :) :)
Author's Response: ^_^ I am glad you liked the door persistence. Thanks for reading! I already submitted the next chapter and it's all up to MuggleNet now! Thanks for being so awesome!
OoOoOo did Lily have things written about a certain handsome quidditch player?? Ehehehe. Can't wait for more! Excellant chappie! And this is so not torture! :)
Author's Response: Hey! Lol! Maybe she *did* write about a ceratain someone.... Thank you for your compliments and for taking time to read this!
Woo, I totally love this story!! It's so great!! ^_^ I can't wait for the next chapter, especially after that evil cliffie!!
Awesome chapter :) I feel behind for awhile there... school has prevented me from reading all the stories I would like to. I'm sure you know how it is ^_^. You haven't updated for awhile... something I'm also guilty of... but I hope you do, because this is really good :)
Wow, this is a really original storyline ^_^ I like it a lot. Very well written! I felt so bad for Snape and Sirius. Their family life totally sucks. Snape's dad seriously [no pun intended] freaks me out with his whole dueling-against-his-own-son thing. I mean wow, he must feel REALLY special when he beats a first-year at Hogwarts... it obviously takes a lot of talent to overpower his own son with magic... *rolls eyes* lol, anyways, great start/chapter and I'm looking forward to the next one!!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, I'm glad you're enjoying.
Wow. This is by far the best Severus Snape portrayal and fic I've ever come across. Normally I'm not a huge Snape fan, but I really liked the way you've written him. It follows with the info J.K Rowling has given us so far and I love the angered interior but the smooth, cold and sneering exterior he has. I have a bit more sympathy for him, though definitely not pity.
Your description and dialogue have a natural flow and sophistication about them, not to mention humorous ^_^ I love Snape's sarcasm. I really liked the line 'he would quench his thirst for revenge at a later date'. I don't know, something about that line made me really respect his character and be wary of him at the same time. I hope I never meet a Snape-like character, but he's certainly entertaining to read about!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I'm really very flattered... Snape is my absolute favorite character in the HP series, but as I write this story, the other Slytherin boys (Rosier in particular) are growing on me. Your compliments on my writing made me grin--really, I'm no writer, it's just something that I dabble with. Snape lures me in, however. And...if I ever met a Snape-like character, I'd hate to see what would happen. I'd probably drop everything and follow him around like a lovesick puppy. (And be cursed for it, no less. ) Thanks for a great review. :)
Oh my god... I just stumbled upon this story three hours ago and I have NOT been able to stop reading! Thank you SO much for writing this, because it is absolutely BRILLIANT. There wasn't one part I did not love. I feel exactly like James when he discovered Lily's book and couldn't stop reading. If a friend had taken this away from me I would've been murderous.
The end to this epilogue was perfect. I love how you had the story go full circle, and as a woman, if I knew there was a switching spell, I would TOTALLY consider doing it when/if I was pregnant.
Anyway, this has been a lovely experience and I can't wait to re-read it soon! One day I will leave comments on all of the chapters, but I just had to motor right on through to end this first time around!!
This was lovely and put me through a course of emotions. The beginning had me laughing, the fight at the ministry was nerve-wracking, and the ending is bittersweet, since we know what becomes of Harry and his parents... and his godfather. This is the first fanfic I've read that describes the day of Harry's birth. Very well written and a delightful experience reading.
P.S. I just read your reply the explaination why you chose a Muggle hospital over St. Mungo's and that makes complete sense. Well done Lily--she's no idiot! :)
Author's Response: Hey! Thanks for reading and reviewing! :) You just made my day! Thanks again! :)
I have two things to thank you for: Thank you for the song at the beginning of the chapter, I'd never heard of the Pretty Reckless, and now I'm completely addicted to that song! Second, thank you for such a great story! I'm really enjoying it so far, and I like how you switch between perspectives. I also laughed at the "Quidditch is Life" saying. I can totally see the Marauders coming up with a theory like that -- especially James.
Well, I'd better move on to the next chapters :)
Author's Response: Ahhhhh <3 This review just made my day! The Pretty Reckless is one of my favorite bands, so I'm glad to have passed along their greatness haha. Thanks for such a positive review!
Ahahaha, I really enjoy how you portray Peter. I mean, I know he's an awful git, but clearly the other marauders had to see something in him to keep him around. Even though he's still a git, at least he's a funny git! "Merlin's bear I'm hungry!" was a great line and a wonderful way to relieve the tenseness from the Sirius-Nola situation. I love how Remus was just like "er... okay... just conjure an air mattress... don't ask questions..."
I'm interested to see what this masterpiece prank will be. I hope it's not too evil...
Bleh, that potion does noooot sound tasty. I wouldn't want to be Snivellus. I liked Remus' wonder at how Snape could see past his nose, haha, it was a nice touch!
Silly Sirius and silly Nola. I definitely enjoyed how the DADA prof has a crush on Sirius. That guy has more female attention than he knows what to do with! I hope someone smacks some sense into them.
Author's Response: Can I just say that I love you and your reviews? Seriously (hmmm Siriusly?) I can't stop smiling haha. Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying the story and I'll be submitting the next chapter as soon as my other fic gets validated (...or declined *sobs*) You're lovely! :D
P.S. Great chapter and looking forward to the next one!
Aw, that was absolutely enjoyable! I thought your depiction of Snape was spot on and I laughed at his less-than-flattering thoughts of James. My favourite was "that obnoxious braying idiot Potter". Brilliant. I absolutely love James, so it's rare for me to be able to stomach insults that are flung at him. I could totally see James laughing like an idiot and being pompous -- I could also see how Snape's perspective acted as a lens for the reader. Because Lily can see a good side of Potter, and Snape is in love with Lily, it shows that Potter must be good, but Snape's jealousy of, and long-time feud with, James clouds his vision.
Loved it. Very well done :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm not a Snape fan - I'm a James/Lily shipper all the way - but I do like writing from his POV and it's good to threow some insults at old Prongsie once in a while - hee hee. Glad you liked the story - Carole
