Born in Florida and moved to Maryland at about seven years of age. My little brother was the first one to introduce me to Harry Potter, but I didn't start reading the books until after the first movie. Since then I have become a much bigger fan.

Secret Spell is a result of my mind going into Harry Potter mode automatically for hours on end. I can hardly believe that after 3+ years it's coming to a close. I contemplated a sequel to it, but I thought it better to scrap it.

A thanks to those betas that helped me get in most of my chapters in the past. Hopefully I can finish on my own despite my horrid grammar.

I know that no one will be reading this, but I feel obligated to say that my USB is missing, so i have to start my extremely delayed chapter from scratch.

The Time is Now by Hermione816

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The most succinct summary ever!! My "Book 7" told with revolving POVs from Hermione, Ron and Harry's perspectives. It's got it all! Romance, mystery, intrigue, Horcruxes, humor, international travel, house-elves, new characters, Voldy, the Burrow, and at least one wedding...

This is a good story and I'm more than willing to read if you keep submitting. But for some reason I don't like the theory of R.A.B. being Regulus Black. Still, this is your story and I don't want to interfere.

Author's Response: Hey...you're entitled to your opinon, right? ;-) I have a feeling that every writer has something or somethings that irritate his/her readers, or that they can't buy into. That's fine...and I appreciate your honesty. Won't change the story, though...writing's gotta be about the act itself, and not about what the writer thinks other people want. This is also known as "selling out" in the big scope of things, and hey, it's just fanfic, right? Not too serious, just fun, and hopefully entertaining. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

that.......was..........so...........GOOD! i loved this chapter--especially that last comment made by Izzy, and that last observation. perfection. like so many that must have do already, i am adding this to my favorites, so keep at it!

Author's Response: YES! More favorites! We\'re glad you liked Izzy, there\'s plenty more of her to come! Thanks for reviewing!

I was skeptic before I started to read the story, but I'm glad I did. And I really like what you did with Lavender. Keep 'em coming, keep 'em good.

Author's Response: Thanks! The summary doesn\'t quite match the story, does it? There\'s plenty more Lavender evilness to come, so keep reading! Thanks for the review!

Author's Response: Well look at that, we changed the summary just for you! Thanks for the opinion, it helped us out a bit!

Sucks for Hermione. I'll obviously be waiting for the next update.

I usually exit a story when it gets too 'explicit.' Good job keeping me intrigued. But too bad Ron will most likely stop mentally insulting Hermione...I thought it was kinda funny (I don't read this for the mushy stuff).

good thing Chris is an idiot otherwise he'd taken Hermione with him. well intersting story. it's the good kind of mushy, not the "i wish i wasn't reading this" kind. well keep at it, and update soon.

Senses by Gryffinpuff

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sense: a word of so many meanings. This is a story about senses. The common sense notion of self preservation that is lost when friends are in need, the senses of the body that can be damaged so easily, and the intuitive senses of the heart that tell you when things have changed. R/Hr focused with a little bit of H/G, not a lot of fluff, with rotating views between the characters on a truly horrific day.

Another good chapter. Now back to Ron and Hermione...I guess.

Author's Response: Indeed =)

Thanh God. One thing I lke about this story is that mushiness is kept down--I hate that (probably b/c I'm a guy, but one who reads romance fics with no shame). And the best part about in my opinion was Flint's reaction.

Author's Response: Thanks! I, too, find excessive fluffiness annoying (and I\'m a girl). Glad you liked Flint\'s reaction, I wasn\'t sure if anyone would really catch that =)

What'll happen next? the question that will be answered hopefully. keep on truckin'

Author's Response: What indeed... Hmmmm.... ;)

good chapter, and i'm definately going to keep reading after DH. really want to see where this new (to them, except for the switchign around part) piece of info takes them plot wise. it's going to be bitter sweet having to change stories to AU in my opinion...oh well had to happen.

Author's Response: Oh good! I was worried that I\'d have no readers... I planned to keep writing anyway, but having readers usually makes the process a bit more interesting.

Ooh Lottie and Andrea will be going some very interesting places soon. I\'m actually sort of excited to move it to AU -- it\'s one of my favorite categories. Let\'s just hope that the basic idea of my story is wrong.

Thanks so much for the review!

even with the Fidelius Charm (read one of your review responses)the bad guys are getting in. not the best start for the new year at Alesmore.

Author's Response: The girls were already in the school, and then they became Death Eaters, so they had already heard the secret. They weren\'t planted spies, so to speak; they were \"converted\" students.

But I agree. Not a very good start to the school year. Thanks so much for your review!

Reviewer: Phoenix 86 Signed
Date: 03/03/07 Title: Chapter 11: Chapter Ten: The Lockdown

not a bad chapter at all. i was expecting a hoard of Death Eaters blasting their way through, but mindless violence doesn't make a good story by itself. keep at it.

Author's Response: Thanks a million! Well the Death Eaters probably would come blasting through the school, if they knew it existed. Luckily, Alsemore has a Secret Keeper, so it was just a coincidence that they ended up so close to the school.

Thanks so much for the review!

wow and i thought it was only a couple of students. how are they reached by the Death Eaters? well good chapter and update soon.

Author's Response: The Death Eaters are aware of the school (they just can\'t find it because there\'s a Fidelius Charm). The other students get approached by the first students who became traitors. Approached or blackmailed. Depending on how willing they are to cooperate. Hehehe...

Thanks so much for the review!

hm, i can almost see this parallel with Nicholas Flamel. well whatever good chapter. hope to find out how this new bit of information will playout.

Author's Response: Ooh I hadn\'t even thought of that! I think my readers pick up on more than I do. x_x

Hahah thanks so much for the review!
