I was suprised by my reaction to the stroy, for I am not a Draco/Ginny shipper. However, the moment I began reading, I was hooked in. Reading this story gave me the chills. The story was written very well, and contained very descriptive words. To that I have to say BRAVO!! It was so good that I plan to read 'Of The Sorrows' also. Thank you for writing this story.

Absolutely brilliant story. It had the perfect sweet ending that everyone new was eventually coming, yet it was still very good to read it. I love your writing, it is amazing to read your work!

And to read a story from start to finish, wow...it's been a while since a I've watched a story become complete. And for that, thanks and congradulations on creating a spetacular story.

The characters were brilliant: Lily and James were very well written with only the most minor glitches here and there, which made them seem even more realistic than you initially created them to be. Sirius and SamLin were also wonderful characters! They did a great job in their supporting rolls! And your various other characters were very fun to read, too.

Overall, I think you accomplished what you had inteded, and I hope to read stories that you write in the future!

We have come across Lily's journal; her take on why the whole affair ever started, her intriguing relationship with one ‘supreme git of the galaxy’, the extents to which she will go for revenge and where it will lead her...

"And if for some unknown reason you come across this, Potter, and the paragraph above does not manage to penetrate your unusually thick head and convince you of my stupendous dislike of you, I hope the following sentence helps: I HATE YOU!"

I don't think it flows quite right..The last two lines just don't work right...I think if you move the word for to the line right below it, then it will flow better.

When I wrote it I was thinking about how Ginny would feel a while after her break-up, but, I suppose it could be read from the perspective of anyone after that kind of break up.

Summary: If you're looking for the usual James-loves-Lily-but-Lily-hates-James storyline, then this isn't it. The thing is, Lily doesn't hate James at all, he can just be annoying at the best of times. As she comes to realise why she doesn't hate him, it leads to the famous love we all know about. Set against the backdrop of a warring magical world where nothing is certain, can James and Lily hold onto each other and fight?

UPDATE August 08: It's FINISHED! Thank you so much to all those who have read and reviewed this story, I have loved your support. i hope there are still people out there who are willing to read it. Keep an eye out for more stories by me! UPDATE February '08: I have changed the chapter names of some of the 'Defied' chapters, to make this fit and to make it more plausible, as I see the 'thrice defying' of Voldemort as happening when James and Lily are part of the Order of the Phoenix.

UPDATE 20th September: I have altered my facts in the chapter 'Once Defied' as I made mistakes in the ages of James and Lily. It didn't matter so much in this chapter but had annoying repercusions for future chapters. It should all now be correct.

wow. i totally thought the high pitched voice was voldemort. then i was going to ask you how voldemort got into Hogwarts...and just wow. very well written.

two typos:
1. Sirius panicked, and in his haste, threw opend the nearest door to him, shutting it quietely behinf him.

2. The footsteps grew louder, and Sirius distinctly heard a cat miaow.

Meow. not miaow. but you were close!

anyway i still love the story. :)
