Throughout HBP, Ron came between Hermione and Harry. I ask you to think about this: If Hermione loved Ron and was jealous of Lavender, why did she have the birds attack Ron? Although strongly ship r/hr, this was a good story.

And don't mind me saying that you and Auror81692 seem to be overstepping the overwhelming evidence that JKR has provided for us. (Does the word platonic ring a bell?) Good story, though.

Author's Response: Thanks! It\'s nice to get a complement from a R/Hr shipper. Auror81692 is a bit too emotionally tied to the R/Hr ship. I mean, come on, these characters are fantasy. We shouldn\'t become too tied in to any ship because they are JKRs characters and she will do with them what she wants to do with them. I like H/Hr because I think it\'s a rich premise for stories and I think there is ample evidence in the books that Hermione loves Harry. If JKR ends book 7 with Harry and Hermione married, will R/Hr shippers cry and fuss? I can see Hermione settling for Ron if Harry is dead. Would Harry\'s death make R/Hr shippers happy? I know what the word platonic means. Harry loves Hermione, he just doesn\'t want a romance with her. Do you know what the word \"disdain\" means. It\'s how Hermione feels about Ron. (Read HBP: Hermione\'s Helping Hand, it\'s used when she\'s telling Harry how \"fanciable\" he is.)

Good story, but Evan Rosier was dead before Voldemort went after Harry in 1981 (he took part of Moody's nose), and Narcissa Malfoy isn't a Death Eater.

Author's Response: Ah thank you for your correction. Evan is indeed dead. I must check my canon before writing, eh? Narcissa, however, died protecting her husband. She\'s no official Death Eater, but she\'ll always be one to me.
