Wow! I really love it! Snape's sarcasm and wit are hilarious and have made me love this side of him.

I like how he's quick thinking and intimidating towards the head medic. It's a great characteration of Snape, it's making me like him as a character lol.

It's flowing really nicely; when I reached the end of the chapter, I couldn't believe I'd made it. It seemed very long but in reality, it was so good that reading it was fun and I didn't even notice it's length.

Great writing! I'm looking foreward to reading more!

Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest of it as well.

Take the Plunge by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Not knowing what kind of foul creature had its paws, fins, hands, claws, whatever, on her, she screamed only to give free way to the large amount of water that then floated into her mouth, as the creature roughly pulled her under the water. And in the darkness she felt drained and despondent, until, with the panicked realisation of another, she closed her eyes and floated…

After a traumatising experience in the Lake at Hogwarts, Hermione changes. But it seems that it is only he, the traumatic experience’s instigator, who is the only one there for her.

“You’re not going to hold a grudge against me now, are you?” Malfoy continued cheerily. “And do something really evil and unforeseen like setting fire to my arse and sending my burnt self off to live with a paedophilic Muggle in Transylvania? You know what they say; if you fall off your broomstick, hurry to the hospital, get revived, insert a new lung, mend your ribs, and then get back on your broomstick.”

Behind those Emerald Eyes by makinmagic323

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ten years have elapsed since Dumbledore's death and McGonagall has Hogwarts back on its feet again. Hermione and Malfoy both teach at the school. But when a new teacher is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts, everyone seems to feel that they've met him before. A story of mystery, passion, friendship, and jealousy… not to mention that Harry Potter has been missing for ten years and Voldemort is dead. (All violence is mild).

Behind Those Emerald Eyes is a very intriguing story about Hermione and a man named Everett. It is in the Harry/Hermione category, and through this story you can see that (SPOILER, I suppose?) Everett is actually Harry. It is set at Hogwarts, where Hermione is a teacher and Everett, a new employee for Defense Against the Dark Arts, ‘meets’ her. Everyone around the school knows that Hermione is depressed because Harry left her and Ron years ago to go fight the Dark Lord single-handedly, and Everett is told to try and make her happy or befriend her. He does that, and in the process they begin to fall in love once again.

This story is not yet complete, but with the eight (actually seven, with a prologue) chapters it already has, I am in love with this story. The characterization of Everett is very similar to Harry’s, though you can tell he has changed a bit. It is easy to love this character whether you think of him as Harry or as Everett himself. Hermione has yet to realize that Harry and Everett are the same person, but I have a feeling that she’s coming dangerously close to the realization.

Also, in Behind Those Emerald Eyes, there is a funny characterization of Draco after he was hit by a memory charm. He is now a very scared person, not half of what he used to be. Draco has a thing for Hermione, and is trying to gather up all the courage in his body to tell her so, but he feels that Everett is getting in the way. I have a feeling he will cause a disruption in the relationship of Hermione and Everett, but nothing is certain, seeing as this fiction is not yet completed.

What I really like about this story is that is goes to show that no matter how hard you try to give up a person, you end up falling for them all over again if they are re-introduced into your life. Hermione has tried so hard to get over Harry, and is now trying to avoid her feelings for Everett, but in the end I still believe that she loves them both, though, they are the same person.

Generally, the plot line of this story is so good, though I’m not even sure where it’s going to go. The writing of this author is very, very good and easy to read in the sense that you just want to keep reading more and more. This story is addicting, from its slightly steamy moments between Hermione/Everett, to the funny moments of Draco’s attempts to tell Hermione he likes her. This story is a great read, and I hope the author updates soon.

For Innocence We Sin by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Two-shot

Hermione knew it wasn’t her business. And she didn’t mean to get involved either. But it’s difficult not to when you realise that you’re the only one who has noticed this change; that no one else seems to care that Draco Malfoy is looking more and more tired, weak and pale each day, sporting dark circles under his eyes, and Hermione wants to know why.

I didn’t expect a thank you; a nod was fine with me.

Summary: After a potion goes awry, Draco finds himself as the newly appointed babysitter of one Hermione Granger, age: 4. As if that wasn't humiliating enough, his wand is confiscated by Potter and he is forced to do everything the dreaded Muggle way.

Note to my readers: This story has been on hiatus forever due to a variety of factors. I do hope to finish it some day, but don't hold your breath. Also, this is NOT a Dramione nor will I change it to be one. Lastly, I am in the process of rewriting this story so bear with me.

Masked Ferret Unmasked by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: One-shot fanfiction

A Masquerade Ball has been arranged in the Golden Trio’s seventh year at Hogwarts and everyone is bursting with excitement. That is, everyone except Draco Malfoy who definitely does not expect to find the love of his life with whom he’s supposed to spend the rest of his measly life at this uninventive and unoriginal ball.

An epic romance. Will love conquer all? Is it true that opposites attract? And who are these opposites doomed to be? Why does Draco feel the need to clench and unclench it buttocks repeatedly? Is he ill? Or is he just wishing for this fanfiction to end? Read and find out …in this prodigious, celestial, sumptuous, epic romance in which love will prove... Oh, God, I can’t even write this heinous summary. Just read the *loud beeping sound* fic.

Need I warn you that this story is OOC?

Oh, all right, fine: Warning: OOCness

Wow. Abbi wasn't kidding when she said this fic was great. It is absolutely amazing.

I was crying within the first few paragraphs, and again more towards the end. It's realistic and sad, but it still has hope. I liked how she finally responded to Harry about the stars.

It was a great fic, Pablo! *runs off to favoritize*

Author's Response: HI Sarah! (I hope I\'m not mixing your name!)

Thank you very much! :) I cannot say enough how worried I was about the story giving a wrong or negative impression to the readers, so all this support has been really great.

About that particular scene (when Hope answers him), I was a little bit wary. I couldnn\'t decide if it\'d too cliché. I figured that that was the way I wanted it to be indepently of whether it looked as a cliché or not.

Finally, it\'s great to know that you were able to feel Harry\'s emotion as that\'s exactly what I strived to achieve.

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to review my story :D (oh, and for \'favoritising\' my story :p).

A Portkey to Safety by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: One month following the terrible events at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape are on the run, hiding from Bellatrix Lestrange and the Death Eaters sent to capture them. A tragic loss unknowingly reveals the secret of their location, and they must fight for their lives or answer to the wrath of the Dark Lord for their treachery.

Wow! This fiction is a fantastic piece of work. I hadn't even thought of it as being the opening chapter to Book7, but as of now I find it quite fitting.

The first bit of the fiction is satisfyingly dark, though not horribly overdone (seeing as in an HP book, things don't get overly overly dark =]). Your descriptions of actions and reactions are very good, and I must compliment you on some of the contrasts you were able to make between the nice setting and dark characters, or dark characters and the hope within them.

I personally would've liked to see more of Draco's reaction to his mother's death, more of his thoughts, but seeing as he was trying to be in disguise, I understand that he couldn't show his emotions.

Also, Snape seemed very in character. I *loved* the paragraph that explained how Voldemort's plan for Draco was originally supposed to go, and how he would be mad at Snape for interfearing. That is exactly how I figure things happening in thte seventh book, and it was great to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

Great story, and I'll have fun comparing this to the actual first chapter once we finally get our hands on Deathly Hallows!

Author's Response: Oh my, thank you for the amazing review! I\'m so thrilled that you picked this story for class! After reading the other comments and reviews, I have to agree that the middle section with Draco could use a bit more, although at the time I was writing it as more of a transition between the first section and the last section. I will certainly keep an eye on such things in the future, though! I\'m so glad you found Snape in character, I am not a Snape expert but I really enjoy writing him. I am also interested in seeing how this compares to DH next month, although I\'ll be shocked if it\'s even close. Thanks again for reading this story, and for leaving such a wonderful review!! ~Gina :)
