My name's Lucy, I'm 15 years old and from Australia. I picked up my first Harry Potter book around the time GoF came out, and ever since then I've been madly obsessed. Just as a note to any readers, the four stories I currently have posted here are all quite old. I like to think my writing has improved since I wrote those (particularly Imperfections- my first), but please still feel free to review. :) And I'm afraid that, at the moment, it doesn't look like Letters from the Other Side will get completed. Sorry to anyone who was enjoying it.

Aside from reading and writing, I love music. My list of favourite bands is forever changing and updating, but at the moment a few favourites are From First To Last, Nightwish, All-American Rejects, Snow Patrol, AFI, Cute Is What We Aim For, Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Hidden In Plain View, Jack Off Jill, In This Moment, Oasis, Senses Fail, and many more.

I'm currently working on a new fic about Bella, my current obsession. It's pretty dark at this stage, and possibly a little violent, so I'm working on toning it down a little. Hopefully it will get submitted sooner or later.

That's all for now. Happy reading!

Casting Grouch by remus R us

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What if, all the world's a stage, and the characters of HP fan fiction are actors? This is the story of what happened between 'gigs', when characters meet in the Great Hall to share their complaints about how they're portrayed. Dumbledore has been rooted out of retirement after 'dying', James has doubts about Harry's paternity, Remus rants, and Voldemort does a Gilderoy.

In short, mayhem ensues.

These are not Jo's sterling characters. This group of players has been forced to enact some of the most atrocious parts in fan fiction-dom, and they're all primed and ready for the casting grouch.

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

Fantastic chapter! It was so funny. God, Lucius Malfoy's username is just ridiculous! Very funny, though. Ok, here's a question for Voldy: What would be your advice to any young, aspiring evil-doers?

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you enjoyed it-- it was fun to write. Voldy will definitely use your question.

Realy funny!! Yay, my question got answered! Please update soon. I love this story!!!

Author's Response: Thank you! It was a good question. The next update won\'t be quite as fast as the last one, since I\'m really busy with a project for German 3 and studying for Quarter Finals. But I\'ll try to update soon.

Wow. This is such a beautiful story. I cried when I found out what had happened to Elysia. I love the way you have portrayed all the characters; they all seem so much more human than they usually do. I especially like your portrayal of Bellatrix, and her relationship with Elysia and Snape. You ahve also done a brilliant job characterising Snape. He is usually an enigmatic character and difficult to portray accurately, but I really love the way you have made him in this story. And while I did notice a couple of little spelling errors (for instance, a couple of times you said 'rather' instead of 'whether'), it is extremely well-written. I absolutely love it. Please update soon!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I\'m glad you like my characterizations. This has been really fun to write. :D

And, the rather, whether thing does sound like me. Usually I catch this stuff when proofreading though. Oh well, I\'ll look into it. Thanks for pointing it out.

I\'m really glad you enjoyed this and thanks for leaving a review!

I loved it! So funny. I liked the way you used the ending bit as the title, and the way you incorporated the quotes at the start and end. Great story!

A Perfect World by happyhooligan2001

I loved it. I love the way you have incorporated history with the magic world. I don't know all that much about the Holocaust, but it all seems in keeping with what happened. It's a really original idea...I've never come across a story involving the Nazis before. You seem to have researched this very thoroughly. It's great, I can't wait for the next chapter!

In A Nutshell by hearyoume

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Dumbledore is going senile, Ron's eating is out of control, and poor Hagrid... will he ever realize his true strength before he kills someone?? This starts off at the beginning of the school year and ends with a detailed account of how Harry finally defeats Lord Voldemort. I poke fun at stereotypes and clichés in fan fiction, and even joke about some things in the actual books. It’s pretty much everything – in a nutshell (or is it nuthouse?).

So, so funny and sweet! Fantastic story. The ending was just so cute. You did a great job keeping them both in character, in a lot of Ron/Hermione stories both end up way OOC, but here they sounded just like in the books. Great job! Keep writing, this is great!

Wow. That was a beautiful story! I nearly cried a couple of times. I love the way you have allowed Draco to change enough to be with Ginny, while still keeping him perfectly in character. And the bit when he was reunited with his mother was so touching. I love it.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I had my doubts about Draco\'s character at times, but I\'m glad you think he\'s IC. *is extremely happy* It\'s not every day I get told that my story nearly made someone cry, that\'s like the biggest compliment ever! Thank you!

Anorexia by StepUpTimneh

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Ginny battles with Anorexia Nervosa after who true love deserts her.
Reviewer: some_kinda_superstar Signed
Date: 01/14/07 Title: Chapter 1: Anorexia

Wow. This is brilliant. You've captured the mindset of an anorexic perfectly. I was never properly anorexic, but I did struggle with food for a long while and I still do sometimes. The point about weight loss being the only thing she's good at; that just rings so true. I know that for me, when I started eating normally, one of the biggest things was feeling like I was a complete failure at everything, since I couldn't even starve properly.

I love that you've not only delved into the disorder itself in great detail, but you've included all the effects on the victim's body, life, and the people they knew. Her friends' and family's reactions to her disorder are very realistic.

I really like the ending. I love the bleakness, the hopelessness. Most stories like this one seem to end happily and with the anorexic recovering, so this makes a very refreshing change.

Your writing style is also very beautiful, and the imagery in this story is wonderful. I honestly can't say how much I love this piece. Well done!

Author's Response: Wow, reviews like yours are what keep me writing. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it, and it\'s great to know that it affected my readers. I\'m sorry about your eating struggles, I have them too.

Wonderful first chapter! I love this. The suspense was thrilling, and your use of language and imagery are beautiful. The pacing was very good as well.

Your character Miss Bennet seemed pretty good, but it looks as though the baby has the potential to become a bit of a Mary-Sue. I'm not saying she necessarily will, but you need to be careful with her.

Still, this is really good so far. I look forward to your next chapter!

Author's Response: Hi there! I am so glad you liked the first chapter, I\'ve never really written anything except for term papers, so I wasn\'t sure what to expect. As for the Mary-Sue.... I had to look up what that meant, much to my embarassment. after finally finding that bit-o-information out, I really dont want Belle to turn out that way. So if you\'re reading along and it starts to look that way... let me know..and I\'ll eh..idk, give her ebola or somthing to bring her back down to the mortal relm. lol thanks for the review! -Mel
