Hi! My name is Sammie, hence the name MissSammiekins. I love everything about Harry Potter, and my dream is to marry Daniel Radcliffe someday. My favorite category (and OTP) is Lily/James, closely followed by Marauder Era and most romances. The only ships I won't read are Harry/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Snape/Hermione, Anyone-but-James/Lily, and slash, although I'm okay with femmeslash. Is there anything else you need to know? Oh yeah, I'm a proud Slytherin. We're cooler than you'll ever be. ;)

Thanks so much to Celestial Melody for the amazing banner!
GORGEOUS Dan banner by my fellow Slyth Sarakime. *drools*
Thank you Abbi for this wonderful banner!
Thanks to the lovely StacyLC for my Aly & AJ author's page banner. :)
Gasp! That was so cute and fluffy! And trust me, I'm a sucker for cute and fluffy.
The only criticism I have is that you need to be careful with grammar and spelling. I'm not saying you're not good at it or anything like that, it just seems like you rush through it and don't always double check. For instance, there was a time (I'm too lazy to find it) when you wrote "though" instead of "they."
Besides that, however, this chapter was fabulous! I kind of guessed that that whole thing about dumping Sirius was just a mind game, but it was great all the same.
I can't wait for an update! Keep up the great work!
~Sammie
Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, you\'re right, I do often miss grammar/spelling errors like that.
That was amazing! I seriously can't think of even one bad thing to say, that's how great it was...Wow! The ending was so hilariously cute! Haha, in my case, that's a good thing.
~Sammie
*squee* I love this story! It's just so original, fun to read, and well written. And I absolutely love the characters. :) OHG (I can't remember the longer name) sounds brilliant so far, and I can't wait to see what Arthur's plan is.
Anxiously waiting for an uptade,
Sammie
Author's Response: Truthfully, I can\'t tell you what the longer name is off the top of my head :) Thanks for the wonderful review, I\'m glad you like it.
Wow. Just - wow.
I don't normally read poetry on MNFF (I prefer to write it ;)), but when you left me a review I decided to read one of your poems, and since Lily is one of my favorite characters, I read this one first. And I must say, I'm so glad I chose to read this.
I don't even know what I love so much about your poem, but I love it anyway. Maybe it's Lily's love for Harry, maybe it's the fact that she seems to know what's going to happen, maybe it's that she trusts her friends yet she's not idealistic enough to think that nothing will go wrong. Whatever it is, this poem is amazing, and I'm soooo glad I decided to read it. It's going on my favorites list right now. :)
~Sammie
Author's Response: *hugs her Sammie* Thank you for the lovely review dear! :) This was one of the poems that I wrote on a spur of the moment thing, and then decided to finetune. I like it because it\'s short and sweet yet I think that my message of Lily\'s protective love over her son has shown through. Lily I think, was a careful mother and though she wanted everything to be perfect I think that she knew that there was a chance that things wouldn\'t end up that way.
Anyway, thanks for the review! ~Suzie
Hey Hannah! Don't know if you remember me, Sammie?
The worst thing just happened: I wrote an amazing review, and when I clicked "submit," it disappeared! So I guess I'll try to rewrite the main points...
First of all, I still love your story, as always. :) From slip-ups to cover-ups, you're never lacking in the all-important humor department, and that's truly the best part of the story.
It's really amusing that Snape killed himself. :D I know that sounds evil, but it's so true! I guess he wasn't as powerful as he thought, since his spell backfired. Reminds me a bit of a previous DADA teacher whose name rhymes with Filderoy Poptart...
The only thing I can constructively critisize is that Harry opens up to Erin, Garrett, and Conner too quickly. Harry usually only shares his secrets and feelings with his closest friends, and he doesn't even tell them everything. He just met the three newcomers, so it's unlikely that he would share something so personal with them right away. I can understand why you did that, though, since that was the easiest way to reveal to Lily how she died.
I know you can't answer this, but what's going to happen next? Will James and Sirius ever spend the night in the Forbidden Forest? How will Harry react when Hermione undoubtedly figures out the secret? Will Dumbledore tell Lily, James, and Sirius what the heck is going on? I can't wait to read more, and all I can say is DUN DUN DUNN! :)
Keep up the good work!
~Sammie
Author's Response: Awww! Thanks so much, Sammie!
To the point about Harry opening up - I will reveal this later, but Dumbledore had told them before that they could be trusted. But thanks, I guess it could seem a little weird!
Haha, I can\'t answer that. Sorry, my dear!
Thanks again for your marvelous review!
Author's Response: Oh, and - *huggles* of course I remember you!
Aw, I feel so special. :)
Lol, but back to the story. I loved Lily's comment about Dudley! 'Little? He was huge!' It was soo funny how she thought she was talking about her sister's father-in-law, but she was really insulting her nephew!
What's gonna happen next? Is James going to try out for the Quidditch team? I bet Hermione is going to figure out their secret. She can be too smart for her own good, sometimes. What's going to happen in the Forbidden Forest? Is it going to be the full moon? Are they going to meet Werewolf!Remus?
Sorry for all the questions... I can't wait for an update!
~Sammie
Author's Response: Hahahah! Thanks! 1. That\'s a surprise. 2. No. It\'s sort of cliché. 3. Yes, Hermione will figure it out. ;) 4. Wait and see. 5. Nope. 6. Possibly. Thanks so much, Sammie!
Author's Response: I meant, they might meet Remus later in the story in werewolf form.
Woot! Sounds awesome! I've never been in a fanfic before...
How would you like to be a guest star in my fic? Maybe in the second or third chapter?
Haha sorry for responding in another review, but I figured this is the best way to make sure you read this...
Author's Response: Ooh! Ooh! Yay! I\'d love to be! My name\'s Hannah, and I\'m fifteen. Thanks for your review! Again.
Dude, that's perfect! I was thinking of making you a prefect in the third chapter, so fifteen is like...whoa! Haha
I'm fifteen too, and obviously, my name is Sammie :)
Author's Response: Haha, okay. Awesome! You shall be a prefect too. Cool!
First of all, let me just say that I love your disclaimer. Originality rocks my socks, and my socks are rocking to your disclaimer. (ummm...? haha)
Second, this is an amazing story so far, and I just added it to my favorites. Normally I think the idea of Lily and James going forward in time is somewhat wierd, but this time I actually like it.
I thought that line about Remus' "time of the month" was hilarious! Kudos to Schmergo!
There's just so much to write about this story, are you sure you want me to continue? Okay then, you asked for it...
That horses bit couldn't be more perfect, although I'm surprised Ron knew what Harry meant! Also, Ron's comment on House-elf warfare was amazing. :) Oh yeah, and Lily's mess up and the awkward moment following it was brilliant!
Last thing, I promise! Good for you for admitting that you can't write Snape. Admitting it is the first step....lol I wouldn't be able to do it either.
Keep up the good work!
~Sammie
Author's Response: Oh, yay! I\'m so glad you liked it! *huggles* Because of your splendid and thorough review, how would you like to appear in the next chapter? Like - a character named Sammie, maybe? I do actually have a good friend named Sammie, so... I might just do that. Thanks SO MUCH! :]
I don't trust Terry.... I feel like he's lying to Lily. His methods of stalling were funny though. :)
Very good so far! I can't wait to see what happens next...
~Sammie
Author's Response: lol, he is sweet in his own way, I guess. And we will find out more soon enough...thanks so much!
Gin_Drinka
Oh. My. God. That was so sad! I'm honestly tearing up right now. I feel so bad for Lily; how could James do that to her?! I wouldn't blame her if she went and snogged Sirius right in front of James to get him back. Boy, would Padfoot be confused. ;)
Author's Response: lol! I\'m glad you liked it! I suggest maybe checking out my other fic, Just Another Love Story, if you are into revenge...Happy Belated New Year!
YES! I got a Double Dare! And an exciting one, at that. *dances*
I feel bad for Lily, since she failed that test and didn't even get any points for it. But at least she proved she's not a coward, so something good came of it.
I can't wait to see what happens next! :D
Keep up the good work.
~Sammie
Author's Response: Yeah, poot Lily. Nothing really seems to go her way in this story, does it? Thanks for all the compliments
Hehe, llamas are possibly the funniest animals ever! I can definitely imagine McGonagall getting so pissed about that. I'm just surprised that Jessie didn't get a detention (or ten).
Do you take volunteers for the dares? If you do, my name is Sammie and I would love to be given a Dare or Double Dare. If not, then ummm...forget I said anything. :)
~Sammie
Author's Response: Yep. That\'s why it was a llama. But, we don\'t know what happened to Jessie (yet). Okay, Sammie wants a Double Dare. Got it!
First, I just want to say that Blenkinsop Waterbut (the name, not the person) always makes me laugh so hard that I almost fall out of my chair! :D
Okie dokie, now on to real review:
Wow, what a twist! I definitely did not expect Cissy (or Draco) to be dead! I'm happy for her though. Now she gets to be reunited with her family, and she's come to terms with everything.
The thing that I love about this story is that I got to see another side of Narcissa. I mean, sure, in HBP there are a few scenes that show her softer side, and that she cares for her son, but here I can actually understand what she's feeling.
Also, I loved that she was blaming Harry for everything. Obviously, not everyone is in love with him and praises him, but she outright hates him. I found that to be an interesting change from what I normally read.
One last thing, I promise! It's about Severus. It was so sweet how she considered him part of their family. In the books, it doesn't seem like there's anyone who truly loves him and cares for him. In his memories we saw that he had an abusive father and a mother who couldn't really take care of him, but here I saw that he actually had a family. Maybe not a biological family, but a family that loved him and cared for him. It was nice to read that Narcissa had sort of taken him in as a brother to her and Lucius, and un uncle-type thing for Draco. :)
Keep up the great work!
~Sammie
Author's Response: *dances around in utter happiness* You are the second person who didn\'t predict Narcissa\'s end. I was so worried that I over-did the foreshadowing. I am so happy that I didn\'t.
Oh, and as for Blenkinsop Waterbut, my biggest problem was spelling his name. I copy and pasted it every time. :D
I think Narcissa has a good heart, but her hatered for Harry is very sensible. He\'s not a big fan of her either. But she has a right to hate him. He was involved in one way or another with almost every horrible thing that happened to her family. And as she mentioned, if he had just died as a baby, things probably would have been a lot better for her family. Maybe a lot worse for most of the world, but she\'s really only concerned with her family. And in this particular story Harry has also killed Lucius, so I really feel that her hatered is justified.
As for Severus, I do believe that Narcissa and Draco care about him a lot. It seemed natural to me that Narcissa would consider him family.
Thanks so much for the review. I\'m really glad you liked the story!
The Ministry of Magic, increasingly under Voldemort’s thumb, attempts to infiltrate Hogwarts, but the feisty Headmistress McGonagall is equal to the challenge. The race against time to destroy the cunningly concealed Horcruxes takes the reader to dark realities where Voldemort reigns supreme.
A story to make you think … with a little mystery, romance, adventure, philosophy, and humour along the way.
This fic is complete and I'll be posting all twenty chapters as fast I can get them validated. It is canon-compliant up to Book 6, and does not follow on from my previous fic: The Ghost of Godric Gryffindor.
Woot! I was so cheering for McGonagall during that speech of hers. Umbridge deserved everything she got.
Sorry, did anything else happen during this chapter? ;) Haha, I'm kidding!
I can't wait to see what happens with this whole Harry/Hermione dealio. Thank Merlin it's fake, because, no offense to anyone, I can't stand the idea of Harry and Hermione as a couple.
Anyways, this story is brilliant, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
~Sammie
Just dropping by to say that I really love your story. It's one of the most in-depth and detailed fics I've ever read, and it's obvious you put a lot of hard work into it. I especially love the way you portrayed the Prime Minister, it's fits perfectly with Jo's characterization of him. Another favorite part of mine was the final battle. Harry tricking Voldemort into killing himself is one of the best theories I've heard so far, and it's a genious way for Voldemort to die without making Harry a murderer. This has been on my favorites list since the beginning, and I'm looking forward to any other stories you may write in the future.
Keep up the amazing work!
Sammie
moronic monkeys choking on pretzels
OMG! I couldn't stop laughing at that! I absolutely love the way you portrayed our, err, warmonger of a president.
This is very good story, I can't wait to see what happens next! I guess I should continue reading...
~Sammie
Aww, Suzie, this is amazing! *tear* It's so fluffly, yet so...not...the perfect combination. I've always thought Remus and Tonks were cute together (well, since HBP anyways), but you just took it to a whole new level.
How do you come up with amazing plot bunnies like these? Do they, like, attack you when you're sleeping or something? Sheesh.
:) What I mean to say in my usual babbling, is that this is an amazing story, and it had better win some sort of prize!
Much
Author's Response: Sammie! Thanks for the review! *hugs* I don\'t usually do \'fluff\' at all, but thought I\'d give it a go...this is my first RL/NT story too...hmmm *hides*
As for plot bunnies, sometimes I just sit down with a teeny idea and just type. Muahahaha
~Suzie xx
*coughs* it's supposed to say
"Much love,
Sammie"
but I guess something happened. :(
Sorry for the double reviewing dealio.
Author's Response: Don\'t worry I do that all the time! Well actually, most of the time I\'m the one who mucks up her italics tags so that the entire page gets italicised. *hides*
Wow! Minnie McGonagall is a Death Eater, who knew?
I like Mr. Deathly, he seems suave, in an old, not-really-alive type way.
Anyways, great first chapter to DH! It's great how it had a serious tone and mood, but still makes everyone laugh. I really hope you continue this after the challenge is over. :)
~Sammie
Author's Response: That\'s the best description of anyone I\'ve ever read... \"suave in an old, not-really-alive type way.\"
I\'m glad you like it!
