Summary: The fact that opposites attract might be one reason for Ron and Hermione’s new endearment towards each other. By the time the Hogwarts Express pulls into Hogsmeade Station for another year at Hogwarts, every witch and wizard on the train knew something had changed drastically between the two friends. Harry and Ginny on the other hand decide to keep their relationship a secret because of a “dream” Harry has about ‘You Know Who.’ If their secret love is discovered by the wrong people it could possibly cost Harry and Ginny their lives.

The sequel is on it's way! It's been submitted so I hope you enjoy it everyone!

A Few Detentions and A Story by LaneTechFreshie

Summary: James Potter: Marauder. Lily Evans: Prefect. They're both seventh years at Hogwarts. They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.

Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!

Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)

Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
And yes, this story is up on Fanficition.net under the penname: Io.Sono.Emilia.
Of course, as a disclaimer, I’m not JK Rowling. The Potterverse does not belong to me, but I am in it and love it.

I DON'T WANT IT TO END! it's too good for there to have to be a closing chapter.

I can't wait for the next chapter...even if it does bring me one chapter closer to the end of the story.

Time to throw the computer out the window. Not because of the chapter, that was awesome. Because this is the fourth time I'm writing this review and I'm so sick of my computer. All the other reviews I wrote worked! This is so stupid. But I just wanted to submit my rave review, so here is the copy of #3 (I'd type it all over again, but I haven't slept a full night's sleep in a very long time, so I simply don't have the ability at the moment)

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This is the third stinking time that I'm writing a review because my computer has ADD and can't get the review to show up! But this is worth it because your story is just that good.
Okay, you're an awesome write and I love your story. I wish I was a good as you, but the stinking evil plot bunnies seem to like me too much.
And James is an idiot. But for letting it get this far, Lily sort of is too( though I'm not sure I would have done it differently).
Anywho, keep writing the sock rockin' chapters.

I love your story. The only thing that I don't like is....well, nothing I can remember at the moment, since I've been reading it before I could review. Actually, I read all of your Destiny Calls series. I must admit though that I liked Revenge of the Serpent better, though I'm not exactly sure how to explain why.
Oh, and I'm a newbie, so can you tell me how the heck I can post a story because ever time I try it doesn't work.

Author's Response: Well, make sure you have good grammar. Nothing turns a reader off more than bad grammar. Another thing is that thinking of a plot before you start writing.
