Kickin' It at the Top by Soap
Rated: 6th-7th Years •Summary: A Marauder-era fic - this story takes a look at all the characters we've come to love (and hate), as well as an OC or two thrown in for good measure. Follow the Marauders through seven years at Hogwart's, with appearances from the infamous Black sisters, Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black, and of course the one and only Severus Snape.
There are a bunch of pairings in this story (although romance is not necessarily the central theme) to include James/Lily, Lucius/Narcissa, a splash of Lucius/Bella and unrequited Snape/Lily, and finally, plenty of Sirius/OC. Enjoy!

Everlasting Friendship and a Green Baseball Cap by Ron x Hermione
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: A young boy crept stealthily down the stairs in only boxer shorts and a baseball cap. He pulled the hat down over his eyes to give him more of a shield so he wouldn’t be seen. It was his haven, his protector. No boogeyman or burglar could touch him as long as the hat was on his small head. Every time he put it on it felt like the first time.
Josiah and Grace are inseparable. They’ve known each other since they were only days old and that bond has held strong these past eleven years. A secluded wood is their haven, their place to play. But this forest was not meant to be inhabited by anyone or anything. It is the same place that many have been murdered. The two children, too, are expecting their special letters to a special school. Sadness, kisses, and lots of love are in store for the two. Sadly, one may just have to tell the other that life doesn’t come out the way everyone planned. Will they be able to survive it?

That was spectacular! I was crying then I was terrified. You did a great job in writing this. There were incredibly sweet moments in there, perfect for eleven year olds, and there were just dreadful moments where my heart sank. Great job!

The Unexplained Files by Ron x Hermione
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: After the last battle Ron and Hermione started a relationship. But Ron's love for being an Auror soon surpasses Hermione, and they break it off, both heartbroken and discouraged. Hermione’s love for books has obscured her mind, and she soon discovers a tiny shop on the outskirts of Muggle London to establish a bookstore, a place where she can wield her own adoration as well as assist others in theirs. She leaves the magical world and all of the friends she's made behind with it. She hides her wand in a box under bed, away from any harm or pretense to use it. Fairly soon, what had started out as a shop that many thought would go out of business in weeks had established itself as a very worthwhile enterprise. Mark, Hermione's boyfriend, is constantly toying with her nerves, his abusive and whiny persona taking its toll on her life.
On a very important date in Muggle London, Mark proposes to Hermione under the oddest of circumstances, and Hermione glimpses Ron for the first time in nearly a year. Her love for him causes Mark to be outraged, and they leave the scene they have made in shambles.
Ron and Hermione are soon dating again, now that their lives have settled and their jobs are at ease. All is going well until Hermione begins to show signs of sickness. Bruises are forming on her body and she can't make out where they came from. She dismisses them and blames it on clumsiness, but the headaches become worse and worse until one day she finally collapses and is taken to St. Mungo's.
Hermione's illness turns out to be worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Will she be able to overcome it, and will true love prevail it all?
This is a new and improved, revamped version of this story. It has been rewritten halfway in compliance with DH. The older story, with all of its lovely reviews, have been regretfully deleted to make room for this version. Enjoy!

What she doesn't know is that her prince is right in front of her always asking her out. She continues refusing going out with James until the dream shows her that her prince is James.
A James/Lily one shot, which ends with a kiss.

Afifa, first off, congratulations on becoming Badger of the Month, September edition!
Second, wow! I loved the fic. The dream was beautiful and you used great description. I could almost hear the pitter patter of rain, smell the moisture around me, and feel wet drops run down my arms. That's a very cute way to have Lily and James get together. I liked the way that Lily didn't get the full version of the dream at once because of being woken up. It reminds me of how, just when I get to the best part of my dream,I wake up and never know the ending.
