Civility by SecretKeeper

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: THE LAST CHAPTER IS IN! Read, review and enjoy! The first battle of the second War- Dementors illegally issuing the Kiss on Death Eaters- A murder in the Weasley family- Voldemort's plans- Dumbledore's and Harry's struggle. In the midst of this chaos and hardship, Hermione is left feeling slightly disheartened. When Harry and Ron are temporarily unavailable to befriend her, an ironic and seemingly platonic relationship is born. Will it ease the pain of the War's influence, or will it only create further turmoil for a girl that needs anything but? And in the end, a terrible decision is left to be made; one that no natural person would envy.

A Poisonous Romance by Samantha Baracudan

Rated:
Summary: Some things never change. Friendships, romance, classes... for the most part, those things stay the same. But not in this case. What would you do if you suddenly developed feelings for someone you'd hated forever, but after awhile you realized you never actually hated them in the first place? You wouldn't really think this was such a big deal, now, would you? But if you take into consideration who you are and who they are, you will realize that no one will accept your relationship. Not even your closest friends who have been by your side for years and years helping you through thick and thin...

And I Saw Her by hammy

Rated:
Summary: Draco/OC fanfic..rated PG for a little language play.. Starts with a too familiar scene in Chapter 18, GoF. Written in three POV's: Hannah's, Draco's and a general POV. Please R&R. =He finally stopped, barely inches from me. The torch light illuminated his face, and as I racked my brain on what to do, I started noticing a few things that I hadn't seen before..like the way his magnificent gray eyes shone in the little light from the torch above me..how smooth his cheeks seemed to be..how distinct his facial features were..how his thin lips were inches from mine....

I didn't review yet and now that I have finished your lovely story I feel that I must! First off I had no idea what I was looking for when I saw this story. It just caught my eye and over the past few days I just couldn't stop reading! I love how you wrote Oliver and Laura. Especially in chapter 11. You wrote their awkwardness so well it seemed like if you did see them in real life that is how they would have been.

When Oliver and Bernard were walking down the street I got so upset thinking to myself “He was supposed to marry Laura!” But in the end you did a great job. It makes me sad having to leave Oliver and Laura. I can’t wait to see what else you have written and/or plan to write!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you decided to give Oliver and Laura a chance. :-) Chapter 11 was one of the most difficult chapters for me to write because it was one of the stages in the story I just kind of skipped over while plotting it in my head. It\'s one of my favorite chapters now.\r\n\r\nI\'m also quite happy to hear you fell for the Bernard bait. ;-) He was definitely one of the most fun characters to write. Adam, Mark, and Rose ranked up there with him.\r\n\r\nThanks very much for reviewing!

I really enjoyed this fic. It seemed to flow very easily. One of my favorite lines was:

The moment Quentin’s fingers picked the ring from its box, he felt a chill race directly up his spine. It was bone-tingling and unnerving as a feeling of dread and disquiet settled like a dense cloud in his mind.

You wrote that so well and your description of Quentin’s feeling was very well done. The end has quite a twist to it.

Love Incognito by evanescence17

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The War's over, the Dark Lord is vanquished, and the trio returns to Hogwarts to complete their last year of studies. But someone turns up a few days before the Feast and everyone is stunned to see him; most of all Hermione, who finds herself drifting towards this improved person - something that had never taken place in the last six years of their acquaintance.

So, who's this 'new' guy and why is he making Hermione...fall for him?!

The Keeper of The Hall by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Meet Aldred, the Keeper of the Hall of Prophecy. As he is puzzling out a cryptic prophecy regarding the downfall of Lord Voldemort, an old friend comes to visit, hoping to better understand the mysteries of the enigmatic message Fate has left them. A year and a half later, it would appear that the prophecy has been fulfilled. But Aldred’s visitor returns with grim news, and they discuss the twists of fate that swirl around a young boy named Harry Potter, now destined to vanquish the Dark Lord in an uncertain future.

This is a one-shot story written for the Harry’s Hospital Wing Project by Gmariam of Ravenclaw.

I really loved this story. I loved the character you created, Aldred. I think you did an excellent job in fleshing him out and making us care about him and his job. I had never really given much thought to the prophesies but now I have a clear picture in my mind on how they end up in the department of mysteries. I had always thought that they just appeared there! This is a truly a beautiful hidden gem in the world of fanfiction!
I also wanted to let you know that this story is the Ravenclaw Story of the Week pick! I hope you get tons of love and reviews!

Author's Response: First of all, a very belated thank-you for picking this story as the story of the week! How wonderfully random! :) And a second thank-you for taking the time to read it and leave such a nice review. Aldred is one of my only true OCs, and I quite like him. He's popped up in several other stories now (at least three, maybe more...) because he just strikes me as someone who would be involved that way. In fact, in a more recent story he created something new to replace the Hall of Prophecy that was destroyed by Harry in OotP. :) So I'm glad you liked him and his position as Keeper of the Hall. Thank you again for the lovely review!! ~Gina :)

The Things I Do For L.O.V.E by Pussycat123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hi, I’m Lily Evans. You know, there are a lot of fics about me out there. I’m flattered that you spend time thinking about me, but sometimes sickened. How could these fics not mention my bonkers beautiful cat, Missy? And what about my evil and malicious extremely helpful conscience? Or the fact that I make a fool out of myself at every opportunity am unique?

Well, this fic has all of these things. It also has L.O.V.E (I’m the ‘L’), the elite group of cliquey lovely girls that I am part of. And our rival, the sarcastic cynic also unique Iola Potter (cousin and partner in crime to James). But does it have an actual plot? Of course not Absolutely! And it starts with me getting a detention with Iola (through no fault of my own, of course). And we kind of ... almost ... well, we get on alright. A friendship sparks, shall we say. I have no idea how it happens It is meant to be. But it’s going to take some fighting for if we want to keep it. It would be a lot easier to just stick to what we know, really. We were perfectly happy hating each other. But ... well. I guess you’ll have to find out!

Read this or I’ll curse you Read this and I’ll love you!

I LOVED all of it! I haven't laughed out loud so much since the last mugglecast I listened too! My favorite...ok one of my favorite lines was when Sirius said “Well, give me a wimple, and call me a nun, because the hills are alive with the sound o’ music, baby!” My favorite character Lily! My favorite chapter oh they were all wonderful!

Author's Response: =D Thanks! I\'m glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I liked that quote too ... as I said, I basically ripped it off \"Cut me in half and call me a munchkin, because ding dong the witch is dead!\" But I\'m not sure who originally said that, so I couldn\'t actually credit it to them. Anyway, thanks for reviewing!
