Well hi! My name's Becca, I'm a Gryffindor, and I reside on the forums as twilightHPgirl18. I live in New York, I love the 1940s-'70s almost as much as I love Ashton Kutcher, and I'm actually working on an OF that takes place in 1966, and another in 1976 based on my dad's teenage life :)

My favorite bands are, in no particular order: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Bruce Springsteen, The Doors, and Pink Floyd.

I love the TV shows The Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls, Happy Days, Glee, Saturday Night Live (I love Jimmy Fallon and Will Ferrell), and Survivor.

My favorite movie at the moment is Pirate Radio (which I love oh so much), but I'm also very fond of Tommy Boy, Across the Universe, 21, The Breakfast Club, The Blues Brothers, and Grease.

My dream is to live in New York City, London, or New Haven, Connecticut. I'm just that cool ;)

Becca:D

Ooooo. Great chapter! I've been following this story ever since Chapter 12 was up (i only started it then because i was grounded for a little predicament that involved arm-wrestling in lunch) and I only just remembered to review. Great job, 10/10. {Becca}

Author's Response:

Did you win the match? :D

I'm sorry you were grounded, but yay! you're back!

The Dark Lord's Eulogy: An Odious Ode by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This fanfiction writer laments the loss of her favourite dark lord in a re-donk-ulous poem.

This is not very complimentary to Volders, so don't tell him about it if you see him around, okay?

Deathly Hallows spoilers.

Four times nominated for Best Poem in the Quicksilver Quills Awards!

I can't say there's any chance that you'll be missed

I'll admit if you hadn't died, I would be... irritated.
^^Even my mom (who doesnt like fanfic because she thinks canon and only canon belongs in the world. But hey, she dont know what she's missing) laughed at this!

Looking back, did you ever feel any remorse

Other than that drunk night with the lampshade and horse?
^^*shudders* I havent thought about Voldy the same way since I read this. Good job! a zizzelion/10 {Becca}

Author's Response: I\'m glad your mom laughed... my mom thought that line was Crass and Inappropriate. And she generally likes fanfic. As for the drunk night... well, I definitely prefer not to fill in the blanks as to what that was with my mind.

The Phoenix of the Order: A Potterized Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack! by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Having spoofed the lovely album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," I decided to do another one of my favourite albums: THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SOUNDTRACK! And through Andrew Lloyd Webber's yummy songs, this spoof tells the story of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."

So here it is, guys! (And girls, and koalas, and lampreys, and shrubs and parameciums and stuff.)

This is more a spoof of the soundtrack than the actual play... though if anyone records themself singing any of these songs, I would fall over from sheer awesomeness attack.

Sirius falls behind the veil

SIRIUS:
*Plop*
^^I read this line about a minute ago & im still laughing my head off.

Ok, it's about 5 minutes later and I'm still laughing about the Sirius *plop* line. Great job! 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10 {Becca}

Author's Response: Hahahaha, thank you! I seem to remember that was one of those things that I added in at the last minute before submitting. I actually wrote this spoof when I was in seventh grade, but it was rejected A LOT, and didn\'t get accepted until I already had like ten stories up (I think when the mods decided to accept \"Dark Lord Voldy\'s Shattered Soul Club Band,\" they got a little more relaxed on the spoof front.)

Nice story. I'm going to borrow the DVD that my grandparents have of it (i think they own it) and watch it, because I read the lyrics but didnt really get the tune, although I could get some of it down. Anyway I really liked it and plan on reading Act II as soon as I figure out most of the tune. But my favorite parts were:

HARRY:
But Professor, we…

UMBRIDGE:
I'd advise you to be silent, little toad.

GEORGE:
(Muttering) A toad? It's you who looks like a toad!

UMBRIDGE:
You're both banned from now… WHAT WAS THAT?!
^^This was really good. As if she didn't know she looked like a toad.
and the song The Person I Will Bite was really good. It's the only Phantom of the Opera song that I've ever heard the whole thing of (my cousin plays the soundtrack occasionally) and had the David Cook, American Idol version going in my head. So, if that was relative to the point, yay me, if not, oh well it helped me understand this better. So, 100000000/10 and great job! [becca]
P.S. If any of the sounded like criticism, it wasnt. I found nothing wrong with this at all. :)

Author's Response: Hehehe, well, thank you! Wow, I think it\'s cool to get reviews from someone who\'s not even familiar with Phantom. It\'s a pretty awesome show, so I recommend you check it out.

I can't believe it! My grandparents had Phantom on DVD, and I borrowed it from them a month ago, and just watched it today to help me get the rhythm of these songs! Some were harder, but I still managed to understand it! (But my mom had to tell me that the Phantom was like Snape so that I could understand his abandonment, anger, and just plain wacko issues) But I still liked it! Some of the song beats were a bit too sinister for HP, I thought, but when they're used for OOTP, it can really work! Great job! {BeccA}

Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much! Yeah, the movie soundtrack is different from the Broadway show, so some of the spoofs are slightly different. And the Phantom is SO INSANE... I don\'t know why all of the girls adore him, he\'s an utter nutter.

Wow. This rocked! And the ending of the movie made me cry, just like the ending of this did! It was touching!!! But I cried when I found out the Phantom would end up with no-one, but I wanted to know what happened after Christine's blond friend (what was her name?) found the mask. This was really good, almost like the real musical! {BeccA}

Author's Response: The ending of the movie made me cry, too. I THINK THE PHANTOM AND MEG WILL GET MARRIED AND HAVE DEFORMED BABIES.

I Still Believe In Loving You by Mhulan

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "Ginny, listen... I can't be involved with you anymore. We've got to stop seeing each other. We can't be together."

"It's for some stupid, noble reason, isn't it?"

"It's been like... like something out of someone else's life, these last few weeks with you. But I can't... we can't... I've got things to do alone now."

- Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Ginny Weasley thought that falling in love with Harry Potter could last forever. She believed that Harry would never leave her...

But when it comes to the Second War, Harry has more important things to do than spend all his life with Ginny. And sometimes it's hard to let go of someone you love...even if he is "The Chosen One".

A Harry/Ginny Song Fiction! This is based on the song: I Still Believe in Loving You by Sarah Geronimo. (It would really help if you listen to the song because I know not many people have ever heard of it before. My suggestion is you can try finding the song on YouTube.)

Hi, Aimee!!! The thing in your bio, about the 'your obsessed with harry potter'? well, I noticed the teachers are like hogwarts professors, and a lot of them are!!
Science: Snape *sobs*
ELA: Binns *sobs yet again*
Math: McGonagall (she even looks like McGonagall!)
Religion: Lupin *in the awesom way, not the werewolf way*
Science Lab: Trelawney *sobs somewhat the hardest*

Now, onto your story...

I like this. It's not too romantic (which I can't stand) but it's not too unemotional (which I also cant stand). This is great!!!!! {BeccA}

Author's Response: Oh, so you read my \"You know when you\'re obsessed with Harry Potter when..\" list? Yeah, you\'re not the only one. My American Literature Honors teacher was like McGonagall! She gives out too much work! My Biology one was like potions clas, except I don\'t have a Snape kind of teacher. Thank god! And I\'m glad that school\'s over for me for the summer!
\r\n
\r\nSo, you think my story\'s great? Wow, I like your compliment! Yeah, I like mixing a little romance and humor together with music. It\'s a great combination like creating a pizza Oh, my Chapter 4 is just finished! And it\'s fresh out of the oven! It will be posted as soon as I return from picking up my younger sister. =)

Click! by Pussycat123

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Before Harry’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he is shown a group photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, back when it was his parents fighting against Voldemort.

But a photo doesn’t show their lives, their personalities, their every day conversations ... or how much organising can be needed to take one single photograph when you have a room full of people – especially when four of whom liked to call themselves “Marauders” back in their school days ...

Hogwarts Musical: Chamber of Secrets by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Anyone heard those rumours about a Harry Potter musical?

It better be just like this.

No, but seriously, it's a spoof of the songs from Disney channel's infamous "High School Musical," telling the tale of JK Rowling's infamous "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." (I was dared; I took the challenge.)

You will never see the Basilisk the same way again.

P.S. You may also want to check out my Beatles and Phantom of the Opera spoofs. Just click on my username and it'll take you to my delightfully chaotic author's page.

I'm surprised I didn't die from laughing! I just have a suggestion: Don't you think this should be under humor? Just a thought. Last time I checked it was under poetry. Well, it is poetry.... ah well. 1000000/10

Author's Response: I thought the spoofs should be under humour, but the Mods That Be told me they should be in poetry. *Shrug* They are far smarter than I, so I didn\'t contest the point.

Home Improvement by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Summary: When Ron Weasley is promoted to a rather high rank in the Auror business, his mother congratulates him by informing him that it's high time he found a place of his own.

Ron may be quite good at his job as an Auror, but he now faces the most difficult challenge of all...

Ridiculously short one-shot that I wrote for some challenge about a year ago and never submitted. It's also my first one-shot that's not about Voldemort and the Death Eaters! Gasp!

That night, Harry awoke with a start. “I get it!” he exclaimed aloud. “Ron wasn’t writing about a…” But before he could continue the thought process, he fell back asleep, his revelations totally forgotten by morning.
^^How can Hermione not realize that Ron was writing about her? She's supposedly the smart one! Great job! You're really good at writing humour (Don't ask why I use British spelling when no one in my family was at any point in time British, i don't really know why I do myself) and I hope you keep it up!

Author's Response: I think Hermione realized that Ron was writing about her but was too tactful to say anything! ^_^ As for British spelling, I use that, myself!

OAF: Operation April Fools by The REAL Weasley Twins

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: For the past six years, Lily Evans has put up with James Potter's pranking. But as her seventh year commences, she decides it's time to give James a taste of his own medicine.

Chapter 7 has finally been submitted!

Kickin' It at the Top by Soap

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: A Marauder-era fic - this story takes a look at all the characters we've come to love (and hate), as well as an OC or two thrown in for good measure. Follow the Marauders through seven years at Hogwart's, with appearances from the infamous Black sisters, Lucius Malfoy, Regulus Black, and of course the one and only Severus Snape.

There are a bunch of pairings in this story (although romance is not necessarily the central theme) to include James/Lily, Lucius/Narcissa, a splash of Lucius/Bella and unrequited Snape/Lily, and finally, plenty of Sirius/OC. Enjoy!

Over 120,000 reads! Wow! Thanks everyone!
