WARNING! RANDOMNESS! YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THIS PROFILE SANE!

Hi! My name is Lyra, (my Mom wanted something funky- gah!) I'm fifteen, blond and I live in good old Noo Yoik (apparently that's how I pronounce it, so meh).

I have a slight *coughs* obsession with Bellatrix and Voldemort. Whether they're OOC or IC, if they're the main character in a fic, I'll read it, except if it's Bellamort. The first one I read involved them on a beach, with Bellatrix running into Voldemort's arms and then they... you get the picture. I haven't been brave enough to try another one since (and the beta forums sorted me into Gryffindor)!

My other slight *coughs* obsession is fashion, but that's my Mom's fault. She's the editor for one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the USA and the freebies got me hooked. *remembers first quilted Chanel purse*

Anywho, back to Harry Potter. I love Bellatrix, Voldemort and, if he's done tastefully, Rodolphus Lestrange.

I LOATHE Lupin (he's boring! I know he's a werewolf, but he doesn't DO anything!) and Molly Weasley (she killed Bella- need I say more?) but other than that, I love everyone else.

I'm a Beta, so feel free to request me. My username is the same on the forums.

I'm going to put my disclaimer here, because I'm far too lazy to put it on every story:

I AM NOT JK ROWLING

I know, life's unfair, isn't it?

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

I haven't laughed so much since I watched Catherine Tate last year (she's a British impressionist)!
You're absolutely hilarious, my dear.

R.A.B- Rosie Ann Basilisk? I was so hoping it was her...

Brilliant... Instant Fav!

~Lyra

Author's Response: Oh wow, thanks so much! Hey, if you like Rosy, the finicky female basilisk came from a rather unusual project on MuggleNet\'s Chamber of Secrets Forums called the \"Spoof Riddle Diaries,\" this really weird thread that I used to be a participant of. It was TOm\'s diary... depicting him as a sissy little emo with a rabid crush on McGonagall.

WONDERFUL! I love this, and I had to write a problem of my own. I hope you use it- I'd love to see what you do with it!

Dear Draco,

OK, so I was in the bathroom the other day when Moaning Myrtle came up to me (I will have nightmares forever, believe me!) and started asking about you. Well, I was like, oh he's gone and she was like, oh where? and we had this HUGE conversation and I ended up comforting her.
Now she's like, totally obsessed with me and I don't know what to do! Please help (seeing as it's all your fault)!
A. Stranger

Have fun!

Author's Response: Draco is reviewing your letter! Thanks for writing in!

Moonshine by Scarlet Rose

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

”Moonshine, stepping in front of my skyline. Give me a minute to figure it out, figure why we had to fall apart. You're the moonshine, stepping in front of my skyline. Can't I get a minute to figure it out, figure why we had to fall apart?”

As a new year starts, the Marauders are all bogged down with their own trifles, Remus Lupin in particular. His sneaking around with a certain peer turns out to be his demise with his mates. Especially the one whose attention he craves the most. Does he feel it's a big enough deal to dangerously reveal things in order to only possibly earn back this boy's friendship? (Maybe more if all goes well.) Or does he choose to wait until the anger subsides? If it will ever. . . .

Disclaimer: I do not own the title to this story, nor the lyrics posted above. They are the property solely of Puddle of Mudd of the song of the same name. I don't claim to own them, only use them as a comparison for a certain werewolf and his troubles. Period.

I love your Marauders characterisation- it's very original! Remus isn't the little nerd he's always portrayed as here.
It looks like it's going to be a sweet story.

~Lyra

Author's Response:

I know! Thankis I like them to. Hope to have numero dos up soon!

Cruel Moon for the Misbegotten by L A Moody

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man whose bĂȘte noir assumes very real proportions on the night of each full moon. It is a reality that he had accepted for most of his life; forced to reconcile to the limitations of his existence at an early age. Then out of the blue, Nymphadora Tonks waltzes into his life, throwing all his stoic principles into turmoil. But wizarding society’s prejudices against werewolves are so deeply ingrained that even specialized Healers have no choice but to admit that some of the most basic answers are just unavailable. As Remus undertakes a dangerous undercover mission that may help him to find answers among his own brothers, Tonks follows a convoluted trail that will uncover the true nature of hatred buried within the Ministry of Magic itself.

Follow this tale of despair and redemption as it weaves through the bustling boulevards of Rome to the carefree Bohemian sections of London to the austere bones of post-industrialized Britain to the majestic spires of Hogwarts castle. It is a story not presented as a romance, but rather as one man’s journey to hell and back as inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Serves as a prequel to my other story, Harry Potter and the Hero’s Lament, but either story can be read independently of the other.

Hi, Kristen! Just popping in to say this story rocks and I'll be lurking around it, even if I can't beta for you anymore :( oh well, good luck. I know the rest of it will be brilliant.

Thanks for naming your OC after me, btw. I'm flattered. Thank heavens she's no longer called [female OC]!
