Hello everyone! My name is Dylan and I am 16 years old. And for the record... I am a girl. Some people get confused... Dylan is usually a boy's name... Anyway. Some things about me:
- I have read Harry Potter more times than I can count
- I went to the midnight release of the 6th movie and to both parts of 7
- I love musicals, but suck at singing
- My friends and I make movies... a lot
- I have a pet bunny
- I am going to be a junior
- I am obsessed with Tiny Wings
- I love my HP soundtracks
- There is a picture of a door on my door
- I watch The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Community, Parks and Rec, Gossip Girl, The Newsroom, and Doctor Who
- I always dress up as a Gryffindor for Halloween
- I'm sorta addicted to youtube
- The Vlogbrothers are my heroes
- My favorite band is Fountains of Wayne
- I love British Television like The Inbetweeners, Sherlock, and The Office (UK)
- Currently, my favorite non HP movie is V For Vendetta
- I'm very interested in films and I want to be a film major in college
- I write mostly James/Lily, but I want to try some other genres
I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter.
Right now, I am working on two chaptered fics-
Snowflakes:
Lily and her muggle friends go to a ski resort over summer holiday and James turns up with Sirius Black. They have some good fun and run from some Death Eaters and get up to shenanigans ;)
The Marauder's Map to a Gryffindor's Heart:
I started this a while ago, so it really isn't the best piece of writing... but I do like the story, so I will probably continue. Ten chapters have been written (from about three years ago) so I hope to edit them and hopefully get them on this site! This one basically follows the Marauders through their years at school. Don't expect much character development, since I wrote this when I was about twelve. At least until I get past the first ten chapters :P
Then there's a one-shot!
The Sorting Hat Put Me in Slytherin:
This one shows what might have happened if Harry had become friends with Malfoy... *shutters* It has a lot more to do with Harry's character and all that deep stuff. Enjoy :D

wow that was really well written! That would be horrible and charity cant talk about it because their relationship was a secret! Im a little confused by the last part... was the dog/anamagus the one who killed the proffesor? And why didnt she have a head? Was she a warewolf? you did mention a full moon... I still think it was an amazing story and you did a fantastic job! Ps. When did this fic take place? Marauders era?
Author's Response: -hugs- Wow, you nailed why it's a student/teacher affair exactly. xD And I'm going to add an author's note to explain, but the dog did kill the professor. This one-shot is for my Herbology class, and this is based on the prompt 'black dog'. I did some research into some folk-lore and things and something that intriqued me was the story of how a blackdog walks with a boy and then just turns into a headless woman. I'll add the link in my profile. It kind of scared me, but I couldn't let it go. The full moon was for atmosphere, though I did imply that the dog only comes out at fullmoon I think. Or something like that XD I can't be bothered to go check how it is exactly. Time era - I mark this sixties/seventies. Thanks for reading and reviewing! xx

And yes, it does start from the first year. :D I wanted to focus more on the personal struggles each protagonist faced while growing up before things got very serious and Voldemort blotted out everything else. You and your family are like that? Wow! That's cool! I love having people who can relate to my writing, and I think that in later chapters, they become more like stereotypical brothers and sisters, where they have issues and fight a bit. But, as the summary says, it's all alright because they're family! I hate how Scorpius is put in Slytherin, because I honestly don't think he's that bad! I think Draco redeemed himself a little bit in between the 19 years from the end of the final battle and the epilogue. It would be funny if he were to be in Gryffindor, but I think that may be too cliched (add an accent over the 'e'!) and I think Ravenclaw fits him. And yes, it is a heeee-uge cliffie, but I think it's going to be worth it. Or at least I hope so! It should be updated soon :) {BeccA}

I think a story starting from year one if you can do it well (I hope I can) works better to develop the characters over time than starting in year seven and trying to fill in all the backstory. It just depends what you want your story to do. Since I want to explore how the characters develop, I thought this best. ~LiLu

Alright! for the chapter i missed, i absolutely LOVED it! it was really funny but i think snape would have been a bit more pissed that james and sirius had read his intense poem... but maybe not! i love your charactorization of the marauders too! they are really funny! i also wish that there was a bit more Lily in this story. but its actually fine without her! i also think it would be funny if sirius had to sing! im sure he'd be gr8! but what song would he choose??
