Found this by accident & so happy I did. It is amazing & so in character of the Tom Riddle in the books.Interesting insight on Snape's mother, too.

Author's Response: Yay for happy accidents and thank you for your review! Incidentally, I'm currently working on an expanded version of this story (Much More Than A Game), which is more of a romance. :)

Snowflakes by The_Dream_Team

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: And there he was. The one boy she could not stand. His messy, jet black hair was ruffled and untidy and his glasses were sitting crooked on his nose. James Potter was here. With Lily. And all her Muggle friends. At a Muggle ski resort. Could things possibly be worse? Oh yeah, Sirius Black is there, too.

I just reread the story from the beginning. The suspense keeps building. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

I wondered how long it would take for the Ministry underage-magic committee to appear.

You are a wonderful writer.

Author's Response: Aw shucks, your making me blush :P And yes, the Ministry appearing for all that underage magic that they've been doing was delayed... but you will find out why in chapter 21! Thanks for reading (and rereading!) and reviewing, it means a lot!!

The Sorting Hat Put Me In Slytherin by The_Dream_Team

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What if Harry befriended Draco? What if fear led Harry to follow the Sorting Hat's advice: "You could be great, you know, it's all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that..."

Very interesting. I just read Snowflakes & wanted to see what else you'd written. The gradual changes in Harry worked well.

Author's Response: Thank you! Most of the stuff that I've written (other than Snowflakes) is kind of old and a bit... meh, in my opinion. I've got a lot of future stories planned and they will hopefully be a bit better than this old one-shot :P Anyway, thanks for reading and reviewing :)

The Missing Hands by Hotrav

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Molly Weasley seems to have a heart big enough to accept anyone in need of love. It doesn't matter if the person is an abused little boy named Harry or her son's always present 'friend' Hermione, Molly will mother them.

Perhaps her need to reach out is caused by what should be present, but is not. The Missing Hands...

I just read your current story about Luna & Neville & enjoyed it. So I came to your site to see what else you had written.

I enjoyed reading this, too, & ended with tears in my eyes again. You have a wonderful way of writing & covering time periods, while keeping it interesting & flowing.

A Carefree Dance by TheGoldenTrio

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Missing moment from Deathy Hallows. Ron and Hermione share a shining moment of happiness while at Bill and Fleur's wedding.
Reviewer: bearfoot Signed
Date: 07/18/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Nice job. You captured Ron perfectly--wanting to impress Hermione with 'suaveness', but at the same time, jealous of Krum. But it turned out well in the end.

Author's Response: Hehe, I'm so glad you think so, thanks :)

Neville's Song by XenaTwin

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A story about Neville and the thoughts that may have led him to the hero he eventually proved himself to be.
Reviewer: bearfoot Signed
Date: 07/29/11 Title: Chapter 1: Neville's Song

Well done. You've captured Neville. I don't usually read poetry, But I've read your recent poems on Snape & Dumbledore and they were excellent as well. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thank you. I am very glad to hear you are enjoying my work :)

Yearning by armagod679

Back to the Burrow by Kiara Avalon

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The last unwritten chapter of Deathly Hallows, tying up loose ends. Here it is: not as good as Rowling would have written it, but a softer ending all the same.
Reviewer: bearfoot Signed
Date: 09/04/11 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 37 - Back to the Burrow

This story is wonderful. You tied up so many loose ends---Kreacher, the Dursleys, Andromeda & Teddy. And your portrayal of George was so in character.

I think that if J.K. had tied DH up this nicely, there would be a lot less fan fiction. Because there would have been less left to the imagination.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. I agree with you in the sense that Rowling gave fan-fiction writers plenty of opportunity to write about the series. It's one of the reasons why I find the Marauder era (the years of Lily and James Potter's lives) so intriguing. Thanks for your review :)

Head Boy? by Radcliffefan07

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: James Potter is a well known prankster, along with all of his friends. He’s constantly in detention, and if he isn’t, he’s thinking up ideas that will probably end up with him and Sirius back in detention. How is it then that one of the most famous pranksters that Hogwarts has ever seen ended up as Head Boy? This is the story of James becoming Head Boy.

The Last Enemy That Shall Be Defeated Is Death by simply_enamored

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What if, on that fateful October night, it was not Lily's sacrifice that saved Harry, but James' sacrifice that saved them both? What if Lily is left to pick up the broken pieces of her life after its been shattered into a million pieces? Who would be there to rescue her? Who would get her through the night? This is a story of loss, of pain, of hopelessness, and ultimately, of healing.

After much deliberation and input from all you guys who have read thus far, I have officially decided to continue this story. It was initially supposed to be a one-shot, but I've decided I already have too much of my heart invested in it to quit now. :) Second chapter in progress. Thanks, all! Advice and reviews are still very welcome!

Sorting Hat Song - Then It Fell Apart by SilverLight114

Lonely Remorse by Hullachan

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Petunia sits at her husband's funeral pondering how her family has fallen apart. The last thing she expects is for her nephew to slide into the back pew of the village church to pay his respects.
Reviewer: bearfoot Signed
Date: 09/24/11 Title: Chapter 1: Lonely Remorse

Well written and in character.

I like to think that Dudley had changed a little after he said that he didn't think Harry was a waste of space. But your take is such a possibility of what happened to him; and Vernon not being able to live with it, also works.

But that is what makes the fan fiction so interesting. The authors (I am not one) have different takes on how the characters turn out.

Doubts by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

I've never felt this way before.

Fleur struggles with life and war. A missing moment from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

This is WeasleyMom of Hufflepuff writing for the Great Hall Bannermaker's Challenge. The banner used was Doubts by TM_WandStick. I chose this banner immediately Toni--so gorgeous!

Yay! Those lovely SBBC people have added this story to the SBBC Hall of Fame! I knew there was a reason I joined that group. Hehe. Thanks, you guys!

Thanks so much to Natalie/hestiajones for beta reading this so close to the submission deadline. She is everything she is cracked up to be.

I'm not JK Rowling.

I really enjoyed reading this story. You are a wonderful writer.

You have made Fleur into a more 3-dimensional character - a more real, feeling character, than she was in the books.

Author's Response: JKR gets the credit for making her 3-dimensional, especially with her response to Bill's disfigurement in HBP, but I do appreciate what you mean. :) I enjoyed writing this and am thrilled you liked it. Thanks again for the review!

The Fish and the Pelican by Hotrav

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

After the Battle of Hogwarts, Luna and Neville retreat to the Hog's Head to explore the feelings of attraction that have been growing over the year. Is what they feel for 'real' or just the thrll of being young and having survived.

What they find or don't find will shape their futures

I love your stories & characters. I know when I see your name on a story, that it will follow both the original canon & the canon you've developed. It's a joy to read your work.

Author's Response: Thank you.
This something of a change for me as it’s set in the future (beyond October 2011). I try my best to keep a hold of JKR’s vision for her characters.

An Intervention by Acacia Carter

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: They're using his greenhouses and his plants to torment first years. Neville isn't going to let that slide, no matter who the tormentors - or the tormented - may be.

As always, the Harry Potter universe and everything in it is property of J.K. Rowling.

This story is on a temporary hiatus until I finish some of my other WIPs. Thank you for coming to check it out, and I promise I'm not going to just let it end here!

Well written! Wonderful story! I really enjoyed reading it.
You really have the characteristics right of Neville, the Gryffindors & the Slytherins.
I look forward to reading more of your stories.

Author's Response: Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Neville is one of my favorite characters, and it can be difficult to get him right.
