Masked Ferret Unmasked by Eilime

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: One-shot fanfiction

A Masquerade Ball has been arranged in the Golden Trio’s seventh year at Hogwarts and everyone is bursting with excitement. That is, everyone except Draco Malfoy who definitely does not expect to find the love of his life with whom he’s supposed to spend the rest of his measly life at this uninventive and unoriginal ball.

An epic romance. Will love conquer all? Is it true that opposites attract? And who are these opposites doomed to be? Why does Draco feel the need to clench and unclench it buttocks repeatedly? Is he ill? Or is he just wishing for this fanfiction to end? Read and find out …in this prodigious, celestial, sumptuous, epic romance in which love will prove... Oh, God, I can’t even write this heinous summary. Just read the *loud beeping sound* fic.

Need I warn you that this story is OOC?

Oh, all right, fine: Warning: OOCness

9th story in a series of Hermione/Draco one-shots (Check out my author page for more information)

HAHA! That was very funny....I loved the sarcastic way in which u've written it...and I laughed so hard when Wormtail said "Of course, Legilimens"
but Voldy said it was wormtail's dimwitted expression......
I'm really looking forward to more...so please update soon

Wormtail blushed.

OMG! I'm loving this stroy.....the sarcasm is excellent. Please update soon!!

How Ironic, Mr. Malfoy by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Yay! I was waiting 4 a story from u, schmerg...and here I get an email saying one of my fav authors have posted a new story!!

Though I didn't like it as much as ur other stories, I must say the idea was VERY original...who could have thought Lucius isn't Lucius.....haha...good job...

Author's Response: Yay, thanks! It\'s okay if you don\'t like it quite as much... different people like different kinds of stories. This plot bunny just kinda hopped into my head. There will be more to this one, so maybe you\'ll like the end of it better. This was just the exposition. Lucius *cough* I mean, Alexander, is one of my favourite characters, so I just had to write a story about him when I saw that Lucius was one of the characters we could write about for this challenge.

Trees But Not Forests by Pussycat123

Summary: One hot summers day, all is unusually peaceful for the Marauders, as they laze about in the Grounds. Of course, they can’t possibly stand for that sort of thing, so James decides to begin a word game with his friends that ends up with Lily being kissed, Sirius running for his life, and Dumbledore remembering his youthful days ... it could only happen to the Marauders!

Wow..I really liked the idea of the whole double-alphabets words...and Lily sure was clever to work that out! lolzz...anyways...good work. I envy u 4 getting plot bunnies just like that while I sit around for hours trying to think of something....! Nice, enjoyable fic

Author's Response: Lol, thanks very much. The best thing to do for inspiration is to not sit around waiting for inspiration. Seriously, it throws any hope of creativity out of the window. Just let your mind wander, observe every day life, that sort of thing, and eventually something will come to you. Like, I was just remembering this word game my uncle did with us YEARS ago, and then I thought \"Heh heh, that could make a good one-shot\" and then I thought \"OH MY COD, THAT COULD MAKE A GOOD ONE-SHOT\" and then I abandoned all maths homework and wrote this instead. You see? Anyhow, thanks very much for reviewing!

The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the sequel to "The Dark Lord's Blog," guys! (And girls... and, I don't know, gender-neutral people and centaurs and walruses and parameciums and shrubs and stuff.)

Several months have passed since Filch came into possession of Voldemort's magical powers, and he has taken over Hogwarts.

With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.

Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.

If you haven't read "The Dark Lord's Blog," well, what are you doing? GO READ IT NOW! Just click on my author name and you'll be directed to my chaotic author page, which lists all my wacky stories.

This is on hiatus, dudes. Ooh! But it was twice nominated by nice (and insane) people for the Best Humour Fic award in the Quicksilver Quills thingy!

Also, some wonderful loony nominated Mungo Phelps for Best Male OC, making him if possible even more conceited! (No one had the heart to tell Mungo that he was designed as an example of a terrible OC.)

WOW. It was awesome!!

I liked the Kaa and Nagini bit. They must look sweet together! *shuts up as Schmergo stares incredulously*

The security guard just let Voldemort pass like that?? Uh oh...can't quite digest that...

I liked the johnny depp part! Cheekbones loL! at first i was picturizing the kinda face Mungo had, when I read "In a jar"!! Lol! How gross though.

That part about Mungo telling Nagini not to be full of someone else was really funny!!!!

Update soon, please!

Author's Response: The security guard is st00pid, actually. I\'m glad you like the part about Johnny Depp. I had fun with that. And this story needed a dose of Nagini/weird fictional evil two-dimensional cartoon snake love!

Well I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was failry nice. I think some characters seemed a bit out-of-charcter at some point or the other, like golye calling ron by his first name and all, but all in all i enjoyed it.

Author's Response: *sigh* You\'re right, I\'ve received several comments about the name thing and how friendly they were towards each other. I\'m considering going back in to fix some of that. But I\'m glad you enjoyed it for the most part! Thank you for your review, it\'s really appreciated!

Haha!

It was really well written. Like, instead of just narrating the things they tried, to get rescued, you started with Petunia eating in that cafe.

Very good portraying of all the characetrs. I really liked the way you've shown vernon and petunia careful not to wake dudley up.

Nice work!

Oh No, Nott Again! by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Our boy Theodore Nott thinks he’s signed up for a position in the Department of Mysteries. Little does he know that he’s been roped into something a bit more… deathly.

Rollicking fun, dry commentary, suspense, and heavy doses of surrealism with the Grim Reaper and company, including a surprise guest at the end. Written for the Gauntlet challenge by Schmerg_The_Impaler of the grand house of Hufflepuff.

Technically a companion piece to “To Be Or Nott To Be,” but who’s counting? It also stands on its own just as well.

Looks like the judges got drunk again, because they were insane enough to give this story Second Place in the gauntlet. Somewhere, all the famous dead writers are rolling over in their graves, but I, for one, am feeling very squeeful at this undeserved reward! Thanks, judges!

Oh cool! I can't believe you've made Sirius alive again! Not that he was dead, lol...just an alive man in a dead world...

An amazing plot to get Sirius back...Harry will be so happy *tears of happiness*

I really did need to read something like this that gave an explanation of whatever the heck is there in the veil...Jo didnt tell us what happned to Sirius and I was very disappointed.

Now even though I won't believe Sirius is back, at least I'll assume the veil system to be very much like what you 've written. Thanks a bunch, you're really creative!

Also, I'm starting to like Theodre. I can relate to him in so many ways, every teenager can. I'm assuming your personality is like him, dunno why. May be becuse he's also random and I think your way of thinking things maybe like him, because we don;t get to see Nott much in HP books and you've made him the character you want to.

I liked the part where he says he had planned many things to do before his death..you know, world peace, cancer's cure and the nosey-thing. XD

I can SO realte to him! In our english examination this time we were supposed to be writing an essay about one thing we would wish for and see it come to reality (except money-that was specifically mentioned, lol) and I wrote that I wanted world peace! ^_^

Okay, that was random but I remembered it when I read this story, lol...and you dont mind random people so I didnt hestitate to mention it :)

I felt very sad when I read the part about "random sting rays". It made me remember Steve Irwin's death, and I had cried a lot for him.

"Anways...this part was good too
We usually end up as lawyers or politicians or reporters or telemarketers, or if we’re nice, something a little bit less universally hated, such as mass murderers or Elvis impersonators."

I loved the sarcasm of how politicians and reporters are hated more than mass murderers...

As a final point (lol...i can see you sighing in relief) ...I loved the fact that Theodre still has the killing power.

I wish I had it too. There are a bunch of people I know who could do with dying. *cough-Osama bin laden- cough*

Sorry, that was random again...XD

~Menka
xoxoxox

Author's Response: Thanks for your beautifully detailed review! It\'s funny, Sirius always annoyed me a little bit in book 5, but I\'ve so far brought him back from behind the veil in three stories! (one isn\'t up on MNFF) Maybe I just don\'t like the idea of a man getting killed by curtains.

My mind works a lot the same way as Theodore\'s but I think I\'m... happier than him. And Theodore constantly refers to himself as a genius, and I\'m not one... not unintelligent, but no Einstein. I HOPE I\'m not as selfish as he is the first Nott story... but I definitely have his random sense of humour!

The killing power scares me! I would hate to have it... and Theo isn\'t too wild about it either, since he\'s generally really, really scared of the concept of anyone dying (he\'s probably a little less scared of the dead after going to Mr. Deathly\'s realm, but he certainly wouldn\'t want to kill anyone.) But I thought it was an interesting twist!

Hey! I hope you're ok with what I've written about you in my profile.

Author's Response: I\'ll check it out! As long as it doesn\'t say, \"Schmergo smells like old fish and sings like Harvey Fierstein,\" I\'ll probably not mind! (Incidentally, I do not sing like Harvey Fierstein, and I hope to Godric that I don\'t smell like old fish!)

Author's Response: Awww! I read it and I was so happy! Thank you for flooding my day with glee!

Poor Selina, I really feel sad for her for being in such a situation.

At first I was really shocked that some one can write a story on this subject but well, as u've said in many author's responses, it's a fact of life and should be accepted.

great portryal of Selina...ooh I really really feel sad for her!

I read in one of ur responses that u don't believe that all Slytherins are mean and evil. Well I too think the same. Selina is such an innocent and cute character. By your fic you have broken the stereotype thought and made people believe that Slytherins are people too and that they arent' always mean and nasty

Poor Snape! At first I was surprised on seeing him as such a cocerned and kind person but then... I rememebered that he's cruel and nasty only to students of other houses! he;s a responsible head of house....oh I just love him for explaining Selina everything so...awkwardly but he did try his best!

Great story...I'm adding it to my faves...

Author's Response: Thank you very much for such a kind and thorough review. I\'m glad that through Selina Slytherins are gaining a little more sympathy, I do believe that they and Hufflepuffs are the most cruelly abused in stereotypes. Anyway, thank you again!
