Hello! Catherine here. I live in Louisiana, so feel free to imagine the rest of this in a Southern accent.

Now, it's time for some confessions:

1- My obsession with chocolate is about a trillion times greater than that of my obsession with HP. I don't think a could survive without it.

2- I'm in love with Remus Lupin I love pretty much any and all stories involving Remus Lupin. He is wonderful.

3- I have a thing for lists. I make lists of anything and everything

4- Remus/Tonks is my OTP. They are the perfect couple! Isn't it wonderful how Tonks is willing to look past the lycanthropy? *girlish sigh*

5- I have written quite a bit of HP poetry, a lot of which is posted on her. Most of it is bad. However, I've been told that "Voldemort's Day Off is rather funny and "Just Harry" isn't completely horrible. I recommend avoiding the others.

6- I am also obsessed with Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Jacob Black anyone? Or how about some Edward/Bella?

7- I write quite a bit of original fiction which is posted on The Red Chair.

8- I dislike odd numbers.

All right. That’s enough confession for one day. After all, I don’t know you people very well. Oh, you’d like some other general information?

A Few Detentions and A Story by LaneTechFreshie

Summary: James Potter: Marauder. Lily Evans: Prefect. They're both seventh years at Hogwarts. They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.

Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!

Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)

Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
And yes, this story is up on Fanficition.net under the penname: Io.Sono.Emilia.

I noticed the Audrey Hepburn-Smitty! I love Audrey Hepburn. I like Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, and My Fair Lady. They are all wonderful. When I read that part I squealed "Audrey Hepburn!" excitedly and my sister gave me her You-are-insane-and-must-be-adopted-because-there-is-no-way-I'm-related-to-someone-as-crazy-as-you look. I get that a lot. I have an allusion to Audrey Hepburn in my story, but it is not posted yet. The first chapter is still with my beta and the reference is in the second chapter.

Anyway, the Quidditch match was good. I don't think I could write one as I am not very good with sports of any sort. This means I'm always impressed when someone puts a Quidditch match in their stories.

All four couples kissing at the same time was cute. Lily and James are also cute together. When Lily mentioned the pop quiz, I thought Slughorn might have told her because she is one of his favorite students and all of that. Umm . . . I think that's it. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter. Bye!

I think everyone thinks they\'re sibilings are adopted every once in a while. :-) Ooh, tell me when it\'s up and I\'ll read your fic! I will, I will! Eh...writing Quidditch is rather hard, b/c you have to keep it interesting enough...but it\'s not too bad. It might be easiest to right from the commentator\'s POV b/c then, you don\'t have to go into great detail. Hehe. I\'m glad you liked that scene. I did too. Slughorn might\'ve told her...she might\'ve also been using her brain. :-)

Poor Harry. How cruel for it to all be a dream, but then again maybe it’s a blessing because with Voldemort around it was sometimes more of a nightmare. On the brightside, he gets to know his parents (fulfill his hearts desire from the Mirror of Erised) and the fate of the world is no longer up to him. It's weird for Harry to want something he never liked before. This is a really good one-shot, but I would like to know more. JKR isn't giving us another book after book 7, but you could tell us what happens next. No pressure though, it's just a suggestion. Anyway, good job and keep writing.

Author's Response: Yay, an optimist! As horrible as it is, at least Harry doesn\'t have to worry about anyone plotting his murder. And yes, it\'s ironic. Unfortunately, continuing this probably won\'t happen. Sorry to disappoint you, but this really was meant to be like a (weird) last chapter, not a story. Anyway, I really think I lack the creative skills to continue this anyway. I\'d hate to ruin it! I\'m glad you liked it, though, and thank you for your great review.
