All right, just for the fun of it, here is a little bit about me. Yes, I write HP stories. I do this as a bit of a break while I work on my own fiction. Yes, I think that J.K. Rowling rocks! To put it mildly. And thank you, Ms. Rowling, for letting me play with you toys!
Actually, I don't write YA on my own, which is part of what makes this so fun. It's a diversion, when I don't have to worry about what my characters are doing. Need a cure for writer's block? Borrow some vividly created characters, and plot with plenty of room for footwark!
In my spare time, I'm a starving artist. Once upon a time I ran, played basketball and tennis, and generally had a life. Oh, to have dreams! No, I'm not married, nor do I have any kids. Speaking of elusive dreams...ah well.
Thanks for dropping by, and my best wishes!
LOL! This explains a lot!:

I like how you're writing. Thanks!
Author's Response: Oh, no, Thank you! Lisa xxx
A nice battle. I was impressed. And a hook with the black haired woman. You might want to trade some of your "wheres" for "were's" though.:)
Author's Response: Thank you very much. Ahhhh, you spotted my worst problem...even if it is one of the most basic rules of the english laguage, but ah well.... Thank for the review! Lisa xxx
Three left? Purple, orange, chocolate and bitter back makes....?
I loved the "Ginny's doing what???"
Author's Response: Thank you :)
Perhaps a tiny bit rough, more in the opening, and especially compared to some of your later work. Thank you!
Author's Response: I think I know at least one bit you must be talking about. The \"the day that...\" over and over again? Yeah, I think I did that a few too many times.
Thanks for the review.
Well written, thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you. Not my favorite of mine, no, but people continue to love it. Thanks.
Instead of "carousing", I think you meant "browsling". :)
Very nice. Looking forward to the next chapter. Happy Holidays!
Author's Response: I must say, the first part of your review confused me.
Happy Holidays to you too!
Nice story. Liked it. The characters came alive.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing, Igo! Glad you liked it :D
Heh heh heh...so tell me that Dave didn't get Obliviated after the wedding!!
Author's Response: No... no, I\'m pretty sure he didn\'t. :)
This...hurt to read. I think that Harry might have remembered that he'd see Ron and Hermione again, and that he might have wanted them to sit with him, but it's your vision. Thanks. Very much.
Author's Response: Not exactly sure what you meant regarding sitting with him. If you mean through the duration of the story, I\'ll tell you this much as a parent, it doesn\'t really matter how close you are to your friends, you\'re always closer to your kids. That\'s how I see it anyway. Um.. The bit about him remembering he\'ll see Ron and Hermione again, at first I was about to say you got me, but then I wrote this in a purely emotional state, and so when I reflected upon that, that becomes the answer as to why he didn\'t. It\'s emotions. There is a clear defining line between the living and the dead. Ginny is dead and Harry\'s about to be, therefore he can emotionally connect with the idea of seeing her again, but with Rong and Hermione, it\'s the opposite way around, the predominant thing here is that they are being separated.
Soap? Severus!?!
Author's Response: What are you talking about? There was no mention of soap in this chapter. O_o
Again, thank you for the journey you have taken us upon.
Author's Response: My pleasure. Thank you for reading!
Of course. Probably his first bar of soap, ever. He liked her. :rotfl:
Well, of course the letters are from Narcissa...
Author's Response: You\'re sure about that, are you?
I think this was one of your best chapters yet. :)
Thanks, as always!
Author's Response: That\'s great to hear! Thank you!
"fuck" may be a common epithet, but "hell" is much more effective. The former is so...juvenile. Hardly Severus.
Author's Response: Okay... I don\'t agree, but we\'re all welcome to our opinions. Thanks for reading!
Oh yes, the hair chewing seemed juvenile to me, as well. Otherwise, it'a a very well written story, and you've done a marvelous job interweaving relevant elements from the books. Did the Vow actually make Severus forget? Or wasn't that "the night before" he lost his memory?
Author's Response: Well, we all have annoying little habits that some might consider juvenille. So does Camilla. I\'m glad you like it and thanks for saying it\'s well written. The Vow did not cause his memory loss. He made the Vow a few months before he lost his memory. : )
Aw c'mon. That chapter was just far, far too brief. :(
Besides, Jo once said that Snape would never have worn a turban. I don't think that he would have caved to Narcissa, either.
Actually, I was starting to like Severus berfore this.
Being completely constructive, you write too well for 'short'. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing the next chapter!
Author's Response: I know it\'s short. I have forty chapters written now--oh yes, there\'s plenty more to come--and I have been trying to make the later ones longer. I know when you have to wait for an update, you want it to be substantial. Okay, regarding Narcissa...Snape isn\'t evil, but he\'s still Snape. He is immature and untrusting and he honestly doesn\'t understand why Camilla is with him. Therefore, he is doing everything he can to hold on to her. He doesn\'t think that Camilla would stay with him if she knew about his affair with Narcissa. Is he right? Yes and no. She would have a hard time with it, but ultimately, she would have forgiven him because she loves him. Snape\'s not perfect and I think I would be doing the character a disservice by not showing his darker side. Anyway, thank you for saying I write well. That\'s very nice to hear. Thank you for reading and reviewing! : )
All right, so you are full of surprises. So, will Camilla learn how to deal with her mother?
Author's Response: I certainly am full of surprises! And how do you know Camilla WILL learn to deal with her mother? Her mother is pretty difficult. Thanks for the review!! : )
Interesting. And I'm looking forward to seeing Camilla's mother.
Author's Response: Yes, Camilla\'s mother is something else.
Now, who would want to Stun Camilla?
Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while, but I've been swamped. I still love this story. :D
Author's Response: Who indeed. I\'m glad you\'re back! :D
