Hi, I'm Connor Landon. I'm currently a senior in my final year at the University of Maine for Secondary Education, with a concentration in English. I love to read and write, obsessively check Twitter and NewMoonMovie and MuggleNet and all of my other fansites, take photos, play solitaire and tennis, swim, listen to music, and knit and crochet woollen items for poor college students (aka: my friends).

Obviously, I love Harry Potter. Though, since the seventh book has been released, my life has been sadly devoid of HP-related things. I still Beta read sometimes, and I love the story "Ginny's House" on PhoenixSong.net, but other than that...

I also love The Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Phantom of the Opera, Titanic, Twilight, Percy Jackson, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'm a dork, what can I say?

It Didn't Start This Way by Marauder by Midnight

Wow. I read all that you have in one go. I'm crying. Your story is amazing. I couldn't breathe I was so nervous for Harry during the last chapter when he was telling his friends about his sacrafice. You're doing a wonderful job with it. It's now after midnight and my mum is pounding on the door for me to get to bed, but I HAD to finish! Neville finishing off Bella was great, and Snape's end...I cried. And all the Dark creatures coming together as Voldemort's army was spectacular. I really hope you update soon; i don't think that my nerves can take waiting. Update soon!! And thanks for sharing your story with everyone!

Amusing chapter, but I have to say that I don't much fancy Ron as the blundering Goyle of Gryffindor. He is Harry's best friend, after all, and Harry had to have chosen Ron for something other than his love of food, right?

Author's Response: Oh no - I didn\'t really mean to portray Ron like that. I know the only thing Ron is really a bit clueless about is girls - that\'s why he was, well, not so on top of things in this chapter, really. Sorry about that, I know, I hate it when he\'s portrayed like that too, so I really am sorry about that. I didn\'t mean to make him that bad... I suppose I was focusing more on Hermione\'s anguish in this bit... But hopefully, he gets better in the future chapters. Thanks for reviewing!

This is quite a good story. I like it a lot: good plot, characters actually in character, good stuff. But I have to ask: Do you have a Beta? If not, are you in need of one? I noticed many grammatical errors, and they definately take away from the story. As I'm really enjoying it, I don't want your story to be ruined by unnecessary errors, including "his seventieth birthday" instead of "seventeenth" birthday. If you'd like, I could do it for you. Aw!! That's wicked cute! I love this story. It's very romantic; I've never read any Remus/Lily stories before, so this is a new experience for me, but a very good one! And I've never heard anyone use the phrase 'throat bowl' before. Very interesting. Good chapter.
