I love sports, ice cream, nutella, and J.K. Rowling. Without any of the above, I don't think I could function properly :). I am an addict to fan fiction, almost to a fault...my favorite stories to read are romances, preferably with James and Lily....something about them, just gets me every time. I don't like AUs or dark fics, they usually confuse or depress me, but basically, any fiction that is well written appeals to me

Little Lions by SexY_LydZ

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

On a stormy October evening, a letter, a late night trip to the library and a secret conversation lead Lily Evans to discover that there are several mysteries in her life that only she has the capability and the inclination to solve. The first mystery is James Potter – what could turn him from the arrogant, could-care-less boy that she had previously known to someone withdrawn and far away? Then, perhaps more troubling, there is Esther Collins, the fifth year who has vanished without a trace. Furthermore, one of Lily’s best friends, Izza, is seeing a mystery boy and Lily is determined to know who.

Then there is the threat of war, backstabbing friends and NEWT’s. A disinherited and emotionally battered Sirius Black is the source of heartache for his friends, except perhaps Izza, who, with her own terrifying family, might just understand him. Lily’s closest male friend, Remus Lupin, is hiding a dangerous secret from her. Peter’s girlfriend is screwing him over, and the whole time Lily is struggling to stop the people she loves from coming apart at the seams.

Taking Direction by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: What if the characters in the Harry Potter films were portrayed—not by actors—but by the book versions of themselves, as created by Rowling? How might things unfold on that set? What would the characters think of the changes made from the stories they’d already lived out… to the ones written for the script?

This fic is a series of one-shots, posted as chapters, each from the perspective of a different character who is dealing with the changes occurring between the book and the script.

Holy Movie Canon, Batman! This fic won the 2011 Quicksilver Quill Award for Best Chaptered Humor Story. Thanks so, so much!

Love Beyond Forever by mudbloodproud

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The year is 1979 and the Marauders are out of school and working for the Order. One Marauder is about to get married, one is finding life outside school harder than even he expected, one is about to turn traitor and one is about to fall in love.

When Sirius Black flew away from the two Muggle policemen with James Potter on the back of his motorbike, he didn’t know he was about to come face to face with the one person who could change everything.

Abigail Sampson was a shy, unassuming girl when she went to school at Hogwarts. She was friends with Lily Evans, but not the Marauders. She graduated and went to work for the Ministry. What very few people knew was she also went to work for the Order.

What happens when this shy girl finds herself working with one Sirius Black to discover the truth behind his brother’s disappearance? Could this quiet girl hold her own with the legendary Sirius Black? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This story starts immediately after J. K. Rowling’s prequel which she wrote for charity. If you can find a copy to read, I would suggest reading it before reading this story. Of course, you don’t need to read it to understand this story, but you may feel as if you missed something in the beginning of this story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

By the end there will be a slight hint at Alternate Universe. I believe what happens in this story was possible, but it strays a bit from what we know of in canon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is the prequel to my story The Unknown Heir. Though both stand on their own.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling and if I was I wouldn’t admit it and put my name to this piece of silliness.

This is Equinox Chick of Hufflepuff writing for the 2011 Mysterious May Challenge in the Great Hall, Prompt # 1.

I also dedicate this to all those of you who love a good MWPP cliche.

Runner up QSQ - Best Chaptered Canon Romance

Reason for Nomination:
This is the most unique take on how James and Lily really got to know each other. The story is hilarious and keeps you laughing throughout, but it never lets you forget the serious stuff. Plus, she somehow manages to end each chapter with a nice cliffhanger.
