Hey, I'm Sarah, I'm 19. I'm a freshman at Saint Louis University.
The last time I was on mugglenet fanfiction was 3 years ago....depressing.
Let's see. I'm an English major (will be an Italian minor and possible double amjor in International Studies, woohoo!). I love to read, run, hang out with friends, same old, same old.
Fav. Books: Harry Potter series (duh!), A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, A Sweet Far Thing (these are a trilogy, you have to read them, their amazing!), Snowalker, the Allana the Lioness series, the Daine series, the Ali series (I don't know if I spelled any of those right) (those are all by the same author, and are related to each other. I must warn you, read it in the order I just wrote, or everything will be ruined!!!!), Green Rider, First Rider's Call and High King's Tomb (amazing books, part of a trilogy), um...( I'll tell you more if I can think of any).
Favorite Movies: All of the Harry Potter movies, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (the most amazing movie in the world!!! I think I'm in love, especially with Will!!!), Pirates of the Caribean Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Caribean Dead Man's Chest (I like the 2nd one, but it didn't do the first one justice), Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, 300 (so amazing!!!), P.S. I Love You...(I'll put more in when I find some)
Favorite TV shows: Grey's Anatomy, Greek, Secret Life of An American Teenager, What I Like About You, Charmed, Gilmore Girls. The last two I'm basically watching reruns, because I didn't start watching them at the very beginning. Oh well.
Okay, so as you know, I love the Harry Potter books, but I also love Harry Potter. And I love James Potter. The James/Lily fanfictions have done a great job with him.
I am a Harry/Ginner and Ron/Hermione shipper.

UPDATE 20th September: I have altered my facts in the chapter 'Once Defied' as I made mistakes in the ages of James and Lily. It didn't matter so much in this chapter but had annoying repercusions for future chapters. It should all now be correct.

They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.
Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!
Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)
Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
