Hello! I'm Chelsea. The range of fanfiction genres I read and write is ever-expanding, and if I stop procrastinating there should be a fair few stories on this page soon. In the meantime, why not check out my favourites lists to find some excellent stories and authors?

I'm a canon shipper, and I also love rarepairs. Minor characters are my favourites to write! I'm addicted to second person POV, and I can't write plots to save my life.

You can find me on the Beta Boards under the same username - I'm not around much these days but if you drop me a PM I will respond. And if you read my fics, I'd be ever so grateful if you let me know what you think - reviews are love :)

One-shots

The Broom Cupboard - Fred/you. An angsty sort of romance, and probably the writing I'm most proud of :)

Chocolate Cheesecake - Sirius/Marlene. Again, a romance set in dark and difficult times, but this time with dessert.

Etched in Gold - Cedric/Katie. Short and sweet with that dash of impending doom that I seem to like to add >.<

Chaptered Fics

The Murder of Scorpius Malfoy - written for the Gauntlet, late 2008. I may or may not complete this someday. =/

Calliope and Thalia and Their Inspiration by lucilla_pauie

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Callie and Lia, a Gryffindor and a Slytherin. A lady and a tomboy. Two opposite souls. Two sisters. Separated at birth by circumstances they are determined to discover... and undo. Yes, after being reunited, the siblings plan to reunite their parents as well. Let’s see them accomplish House Unity, too!

“It’s our rule not to dredge up past things, remember?”

This rule is about to be broken.

~Inspired by a worldwide beloved film.

A Little Lighter Than Black by kritchen

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: From the ancient and noble house of Black to the obscurity of being Muggleborn, seventh year just promised to be another school year, although their last. Andromeda is testing her boundaries and the limits placed upon her. She's rebelling a bit from the ideals that she was brought up with. Ted is just living in the moment, still trying to decide what he wants to be. Fighting with habitual messiness and lack of organization, the cheerful, happy-go-lucky Hufflepuff soon finds himself in the midst of something he hadn't expected. Two unlikely characters, a spark of life, and the awkwardness of repeated encounters leads to more than they expected out of their seventh year.

I'm sorry for the long wait for the next chapter. It's finally finished. I graduated high school in 2010 and then entered college. It was quite a stressful time and quite the transition. I also lost the chapter once when my computer crashed. I had struggled with it for so long (writer's block) and when it was almost done, there it went into technological oblivion. I was so frustrated, I couldn't bring myself to try rewriting it until recently.

Hearthlinks by Grace has Victory

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Growing up with two stepfamilies, Sally-Anne Perks has all the usual family problems in triplicate. Now her stepmother wants to prevent her attending the Yule Ball. Will this ruin Sally-Anne’s chances of winning her prince? And who has stolen her magic shoe?

This is a response to a challenge to retell a traditional fairy tale with a Hogwarts setting. You might consider that I put a twist in the ending… or you might not.

Seventh Sense by roisin_dubh

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A blind Muggle girl shows up at Hogwarts after a run-in with Death Eaters, looking for a solution to her mess and a place to recuperate.
I do not own any of Dante's work, nor do I want to. The former also holds true for Jeff Smith; sadly, the latter does not. I wish I owned his ideas. As it is, I just messed around with them. Please approach this fic with a very open mind; while nothing is particularly controversial, some of the concepts are very, very abstract and possibly arbitrary.

The Six by helgaandgodric

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: What are six best friends to do? Enjoy their seventh year, if possible! Join Air, Layla, May, Sean, Jack, and Theo, Ravenclaws in Ginny's year, as they fall in and out of love, survive and accident or two, and stick together, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.

This was originally prompted by a challenge from awhile ago that I couldn't participate in. There will be two chapters of Autobiography, four (notice the new number!) of Conflict, six of Great Love, and one of Resolution.

New rating as a precautionary for later chapters, and warnings might pop up along the way. Also, it has been edited to comply with DH, so you might want to reread some chapters. It is not necessary, though.

Ted Lupin and the Triwizard Tournament by starstruck7

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When Ted Lupin is named Hogwarts Champion for the newly reinstated Triwizard Tournament he will have to use all his wits to face an angry chimera, cheating, backstabbing, ex-Quidditch stars, intrigues, waltzing, illegal magic, and fierce competition from his arch-nemesis, the lovely Victoire.

But there’s more. Something truly dreadful lurks under the cover of fame and eternal glory. A mystery Ted, his famous godfather Harry Potter, and (of course) Victoire will have to solve. Because if they don’t, this tournament will surpass even its predecessors and become the bloodiest competition Hogwarts has ever seen.

Ted/Victoire

Colours Of Life by xombie

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Each moment is a decision, defined by the circumstances. Who knows? Had it not been for an overprotective cousin, perhaps Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy could have been the best of friends. Perhaps in one point in time and space, they are. As it happens, their relationship was defined by one catalytic factor, James Potter, and now, they are sworn enemies.

This story is a chronicle of their first year at Hogwarts, and their last. It is a tale of happenstance and familial influence, of an enmity that was not theirs to decide. Read and find out how such an enmity can influence the lives of two innocent children and wreck them. Will the injury last forever?

Due to my heavy work-schedule, this fic will be on hold till early June. My apologies to all.

In Muggle World by Daedalus Plum

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What if Harry made friends with someone in the Muggle world? When a girl named Gillian gets caught up in Harry's world of magic, Harry gets a link to the Muggle world that will prove invaluable.

Gillian lives on Magnolia Crescent. She is a Muggle, but not the kind generally accepted by the majority of Muggles. Gillian finds herself wishing daily that there was more to the world in which she lives. Something more fantastic and wondrous, as she sometimes believes there is. As circumstances would have it, she meets Harry Potter, that strange boy who's nothing but trouble. It's rumored he spends the school year at St. Brutus' Institute for Incurably Criminal Boys. At first she's terrified of him, but even lies that conceal one of the world's greatest secrets can't keep at bay her curiosity and longing for something greater. A bond is formed between her and Harry that not all the magic in the world can conceal. And as more about the world is revealed, the question arises: is she a Muggle or Squib?

Just George by ilovetheweasleys_7

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

"Every man dies. Not every man truly lives." -Braveheart

The war is over. Voldemort is gone, forever. Most are rejoicing, lifting their glasses once again to The Boy Who Lived. George Weasley is not. He has lost his best friend, his twin, the other half of his soul. He has nothing left to live for - or so it would seem.

A Time to Stand by Karalyn

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: While Harry if off hunting horcruxes, Neville and the rest of his friends and classmates are not sitting idly by.

Not a Bang but a Whisper by Magical Maeve

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A short poem concerning Professor Snape.

DH Spoilers contained within.

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

In From The Cold by Pallas

Summary: When Remus meets Tonks for a drink at the Three Broomsticks, he gets rather more than he bargained for...
