The Unseemly Proposal by sparx

Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. In order to regain the respect of his fellow wizards and to make them believe that he has turned over a new leaf (which he actually hasn't) and has graciously accepted muggles and Mudbloods, Lucius asks Hermione, a Mudblood, to marry his son, Draco, a pure-blood. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. I know that I have not been on Mugglenet FanFic in SEVERAL months and I am sorry. These past months and year have been so crazy, hectic, and frustrating there has been no time for DD. I am sad to tell that I will not be finishing DD unless a random amount of freetime appears.

hmm... Im usually all for loveydovey stuff but i think bella's change is too inrealistic, for some random reason i think she shouldve died.
Author's Response: I get that her change may be a stretch, but the whole book works up to how Lyra gets the family she needs and wants and how the series might have turned out differently had the Lestranges had a daughter. Therefore, for this story I think it works best that Bella lives. Plus I love her and didn't really have the heart to kill her off (crazy, I know, since she's so evil).
