OH MY GOSH!!!! I loved this story! I lost sleep for this story, the day before my Algebra II midterm (And I suck at algebra with full sleep). I couldn't stop reading. I always loved the "Things I am not allowed to do at Hogwarts" list, and this story really made them come to life, and added more to. Yay Marauders!!!! :)

Wow. This has to be one of the greatest Lily/James stories I've ever read, and most definitely the longest. I loved ever minute of it. You really did a fantastic job with the Characters. The Marauders are my favorite, so I've really done all I can to learn about them, and you did a great job with them. I wish it could keep going, but you ended it so well, I won't beg for that last mega-chapter. Pure Brilliance. :)

Rated: 6th-7th Years •

OH MY GOD. This was really amazing. I was kind of mad that Ginny was pregnant, but I was really sad when she lost the baby. This was very well written. I couldn't stop reading it once I started. Great Story. :)

Three Days of Magic by Hermionefan01118

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: An alternate view of how both Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny might've gotten together, this story chronicles a three day period of interesting moments of their lives...

I loved this! You really got Ron's anger over Harry and Ginny. I always thought he wouldn't be mad for too long. And I loved how Hermione and Ron are just snogging it out in some trees. I could totally see that. Well written. :)

You Tell Her by SnorkackCatcher

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: As the Trio begin their quest, Hermione has an uneasy feeling that there's something very important Harry and Ron aren't telling her. And as it happens, she's absolutely right. But some things just aren't easy to tell when you're sure your friend won't want to hear them ... [Set shortly post-HBP. Gen + the canon ships.]

Gotta say, longest one-shot I've ever seen, but I loved it. Seriously, it was amazing. I could never have ever come up with the idea of Hermione as a seer. You really captured how much she would hate it, and how Ron and Harry would try to hid it from her, for her on good. Absolutely Splendid. :)

Love Conquers by dumbly_dorr

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: If you're looking for the usual James-loves-Lily-but-Lily-hates-James storyline, then this isn't it. The thing is, Lily doesn't hate James at all, he can just be annoying at the best of times. As she comes to realise why she doesn't hate him, it leads to the famous love we all know about. Set against the backdrop of a warring magical world where nothing is certain, can James and Lily hold onto each other and fight?

UPDATE August 08: It's FINISHED! Thank you so much to all those who have read and reviewed this story, I have loved your support. i hope there are still people out there who are willing to read it. Keep an eye out for more stories by me! UPDATE February '08: I have changed the chapter names of some of the 'Defied' chapters, to make this fit and to make it more plausible, as I see the 'thrice defying' of Voldemort as happening when James and Lily are part of the Order of the Phoenix.

UPDATE 20th September: I have altered my facts in the chapter 'Once Defied' as I made mistakes in the ages of James and Lily. It didn't matter so much in this chapter but had annoying repercusions for future chapters. It should all now be correct.

Muggle Studies--The Muggle Way by I_LUV_MOONY

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The Marauders are in third year Muggle Studies, with their latest class project sneaking up on them: ballroom. "Who cares?" they think, "Hardly any Muggles even dance; they don't even like it that much. Why should we have to deal with it?" Professor Richardt has other ideas.

I recently read back through this and cringed at how poorly written it was. I'm going to finish the sequel, and then this story is getting completely revamped. Thanks to all who put up with the poor writing and complimented it!

Amazing! I really loved this story. You never see Remus in love until that short time when he's with Tonks (Bless her). I really liked the tasks and the story line and everything. My only complaint would be that I was hoping there would be something huge between James and Lily. I saw you had a sequel, but it's not completed. PLEASE FINISH IT!!!! I know it's been YEARS, but I'd love to see what happens during Ballet. Anyways, this was an absolutely lovely story. :)

A Marauder's Tale by NctnlBst

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James and the Marauders are planning their biggest and boldest stunt to date. Their target... Professor Dumbledore. Lily Evans suspects that they are up to something, but is not sure what. Will the Marauders succeed or will Lily be able to foil their plans?

Wow! This was amazing! I loved this. I always thought Lily would have let James win, but he would have screwed it up somehow. It was great, I really enjoyed this. Lily is just as irrational as depicted and the Marauders do use their powers for good sometimes, not evil. Great story. :)

Growing Pains by starscribe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It is the Marauders’ fifth year at Hogwarts, and friendships are being tested. Sirius has run away from his family and is struggling with the consequences. Severus desperately tries to hold on to Lily’s affection as James attempts to gain it. This was so great! I really felt bad for Sirius (even though it was completely his fault), and it was great to see an angry side of Remus, since he always controls his anger. I love seeing the boys fight and make up, and James worry about Lily. Such an awesome story! :)

This was so awesome. HP7 made me cry over Fred (Multiple times), but this convinced me that Fred died for a reason. I've come to terms with his death because you wrote this so well. And I loved the addition of James and Lily, but that's just my love of Marauders. This was Brilliant! :)

A Legacy of Mischief by Razgriz Ace

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: "Well the first time I met your mum she told me the reason she was never a prefect at school was that she had a complete inability to stay out of trouble.... And as for your dad…well he was a Marauder wasn’t he?”

Wow. This is an amazing story! The map made me laugh so hard, and I felt Teddy's pain about Remus and Tonks. It really is a great way to get over DH being over (although it really isn't). I really enjoyed this story. :)

Grave Days by Northumbrian

Summary: Front page: THE DAILY PROPHET 4 May 1998

TOM RIDDLE – THE SELF-STYLED LORD VOLDEMORT

Editors Note: At the request of the Ministry for Magic this Official Statement issued by the Office of the Minister is produced full and unedited.

OFFICIAL MINISTRY STATEMENT

This official statement has been compiled with the assistance and co-operation of Mr Harry Potter.

“Lord Voldemort” was, in fact a man named Tom M. Riddle, son of a witch, Merope Gaunt and a Muggle, Tom Riddle Senior. The Ministry has decided that in all future official publications Riddle will be referred to by his given name.

There has already been much speculation and wild rumour regarding the events at Hogwarts School. The Ministry can confirm that Tom M. Riddle was killed at dawn on the morning of Saturday, 2 May. Riddle was disarmed by Harry Potter while in the act of firing a killing curse at Mr Potter. The curse killed Riddle rather than its intended target.

WHERE IS HARRY POTTER?

Despite the Official Ministry Statement (published above) we are no closer to receiving an answer to the question on the lips of every witch and wizard in the country. Where is Harry Potter?

It appears that Mr Potter left Hogwarts School early yesterday morning, apparently in the company of his close associates Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. An attractive young Ministry clerk, who did not wish to be named, told The Prophet “He’s at the Ministry, having an important meeting with the Minister. My friends and I saw him. He asked us out to the pub, but we had to turn him down.” This statement is at odds with a report from the Portkey Office that Mr Potter has fled the country, travelling to Australia with his companions.

The days after the battle were days of grief and mourning. Grave Days.

This Story was magnificent! I had never read a story like this before (post Hogwarts) and now I'm always going to compair them to this one. It's exactly what I would have imagined happening. Harry's bossy, Ron's in love, and Hermione goes back to school. JK would be proud. :)

Author's Response: Thanks you.
This was my first novel-length story and I tried to keep the characters in character, I always do. Although the sequel "Aurors and Schoolgirls" remains uncompleted, all of my stories take place i he same post-battle future.

This was too adorable. From now on, I'll be reading the books, and think about this story every time Ron says anything to Hermione. I loved this story. I think this really is how he must have felt. Brilliant. :)

Back to the Burrow by Kiara Avalon

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The last unwritten chapter of Deathly Hallows, tying up loose ends. Here it is: not as good as Rowling would have written it, but a softer ending all the same.

This is one of my favorite stories. You really got the characters right. I'm really glad to see a happy ending for George, and everyone. The ceremony to honor everyone was sweet, and I loved it. Great Job. :)

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I'm glad I managed to do everyone justice. The ending of DH was very unsettling for me when I first read it years ago (as I'm sure it was for many people) and I actually remember first writing this piece as soon as I finished the book. What can I say, it was a cathartic experience :) Thanks for reading!

THIS IS AWESOME! I hate how everyone always assumes Lily just gave into James one day, very lame. I love to believe that she told him she liked him in a flirty, cute way, like this. And I really enjoyed that James was so clueless for the longest time. Brilliantly written! :)
