James and Lily Potter were possibly the most famous parents in wizarding history. We know alot about their adult life, but what do we really know about their childhood? Even Harry never knew about the Drama, jealousy, danger, friendships, happiness, sadness, resentment,confusion and love that his parents went through as children. Here, their lives, from when the two of them were eleven to when they were brutally murdered at only 21, is recorded. Lily and James Potter were unsung heros. This is their story.

Summary: James Potter: Marauder. Lily Evans: Prefect. They're both seventh years at Hogwarts. They're also about to have a pretty interesting year--complete with a few detentions, pranks, confusion, and laughter--in which they get through school, make some trouble and maybe, just maybe, sort out their feelings for each other.

Thanks to all you who have made it possible for this story to be in the Top Tens. It was a very happy moment when I first saw my story on the list, and I love being able to go back and see it there now. Still. Yay!

Throughout the latter half of 2010, and the first half of 2011, I re-edited this story. The changes were mostly to fix stray (and annoying) grammar and spelling errors, but also to rework some plot points in an effort to stay truer to canon. I also updated the style; having written this story so long ago, my writing has definitely developed (and I would say gotten better), so I edited to reflect that. (I apologize for the errors that were in the story before all this editing. I found them immensely distressing when I reread my chapters. Heartbreaking, really.)

Big “thank yous” go to the three people who helped edit/nitpick the first edition of this novel: violagirl, fairiesandcream, and Omagus.
And yes, this story is up on Fanficition.net under the penname: Io.Sono.Emilia.
Of course, as a disclaimer, I’m not JK Rowling. The Potterverse does not belong to me, but I am in it and love it.

God. I ussually only review the last chapter of a stroy and so here comes your turn. :) . When I first read your summary, I thought your story might be a liitle AU, which I don't like, so I avoided reading it. However, I love it, and I found it wasn't AU at all. I like the way you made it unique, with the premier seer stuff, and the relationship with Sanpe, though in my opinion, I don't think Lily could ever go out with Sanpe. It was very emotionally and deltailedly spun, and I loved it!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you decided to take the plunge! What made you decide to read the story? I personally don\'t really believe that Lily would ever go out with Snape, either. I do think that in canon she was friendly to him, because it was probably against her nature to be nasty to anyone (except James). Therefore, I believe that Snape loved Lily for her heart. His love wasn\'t mutual, of course. Anyway, thanks for the review! I was just trying to remember how I thought of the Seer stuff, but I really can\'t. I read the Japanese comic series, \"Clover\" by Clamp, which gave me the idea about Lily predicting her own death, and I guess the Seer bit just fell into place. Predictions and Seeing just go hand in hand, I guess. Thanks for reading!

But there was not character death warnign? Hmmm................. Gruesome! But most probably how JKR will write it. (Without Ron's death and the torture!!!)

Author's Response: Hi jojo_dolphin2394! Thanks for the nice review! About Hermione\'s torture: we saw at the World Quidditch Cup what Death Eater\'s do for fun. What the Lestranges did to Neville\'s parents was absolutely evil. I was shocked by the way Dolores Umbridge tortured Harry in OotP, she\'s a sadistic character. I just imagined what would happen if those two got together and got their evil hands on Hermione. In my fic, Harry transforms into a soldier. He\'s not evil, but he is hard-core and he will do what he must do.

I really like this one-hot, it is unlike any I've ever read before. It is unique because it is written in the resent tense and not the past, but hangs on to fanfiction because of it's balance. I think the title is great and also unique. I like the story becuase it is original. it's sad, but then the later years of Siruis Black are sad. Not a happy story, but not a bad one either.
