It may be all over now as far as new material goes, but I fully plan to keep on with the handful of plot bunnies I've gathered and have been caring for over the years. I've always said I never give up on a story once I start writing it (with the exception of Fire and Ice, my apologies).

After some totally incidental field research (travels to the Harry Potter Studio, Romania, and Bulgaria) I promise to pick up Storm and Stress again this summer. Sorry for the hiatus!

Lacuna Mentis by hestiajones

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: There were blind spots in his mind. They said he might recover the lost memories; they also said there was a high possibility he might not. Along came a girl, and everything changed.

Warning: This story is originally rated Professors, for the bunch of warning tags applicable to it. The rating has been changed temporarily only because we're having some technical problem with stories that have higher ratings. So, please click at your own discretion.

This story is written for ToBeOrNot..../Jess, my close friend and one of the most gifted writers I know. O Believer of Rarepairs, this is my fluff-free, dark and angsty present for you.

Winner of this year's QSQ Best Dark/Angsty and nominated for Best General!

DISCLAIMER: I am not J.K.Rowling. I highly doubt she ships this ship.

PLEASE DO NOT READ THE REVIEWS before reading the fic.

Starting Over by suckr4romance

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: [Begun Pre DH] Draco, in order to avoid the wrath of the Dark Lord, negotiates his return to Hogwarts, the only place in the world he can be safe. Ginny, meanwhile, tries her hardest to forget everything about...(Boy-Who-Lived who?)...and focuses on her N.E.W.T. classes. Unfortunately, one moment of carelessness in Potions gives her a one-way ticket to weekly tutoring sessions with--yes--Draco Malfoy. This fic takes Draco/Ginny and attempts to make it go along with canon. Reviews are appreciated.

Vacillation and Volition by Fantasium

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When you refuse to make choices, life has a tendency to make them for you.

Being the illegitimate son of a particularly noticeable wizard, Lucas Malory has spent all of his life practicing the art of inconspicuousness. But when the brutal waves of war break upon the world, every man must make a stand for what he believes in. Lucas, determined to keep his distance and only mind his own business, suddenly finds his options banging impatiently on the door. When indifference is no longer an option, how will he decide where his loyalties lie?

A/N: This story was plotted out before the release of the 7th book, but as I continue writing after having read it, chapters may be inspired by/include spoilers from Deathly Hallows.

Curriculum Vitae by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Ever since the war ended, Theodore Nott has found little solace in anything, save for his Firewhiskey purchases. Due to happenings and circumstances, he runs into the most unlikely people and places, ones that may just be able to help him as he trundles along through life.

This is a story of pain, loss, regret, bitterness. This is a story of joy, laughter, forgiveness, hope. It's a story of second glances, second considerations, second chances. And first chances too. Curriculum Vitae is Latin for: The course of one’s life.

This story was the overall winner of the '07/'08 Winter Tales Challenge. It also took the 2009 QSQ award for Best Post-Hogwarts Chaptered story. I am as stunned as I am grateful. Thank you.

To Sever the Lining from a Cloud by Textualsphinx

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: This tale of the teacher whom everyone loathes,
Accounts for his anger and elegant clothes.
It dripped through my mind when, too scantily cloaked,
I got caught in a rainstorm and throughly soaked.
