Hi and thanks for stopping by!

My story "Soldiers" is now complete! Feel free to contact me if you ever want to know a little more about what happened to Septimus and Cedrella after the story ends.

As for "Meet the Weasleys," I plan to write more. However, it is on hold for now because I don't have as much free time as I would like to spend writing fanfiction, unfortunately. College beckons. :)

Yikes! Cliffhanger! I like this story a lot. Poor Draco, having to put up with a kid like Scorpius...
Update soon!

I really like this series and this story in paticular. Its so intersting how you adapt the story line to fit Neville's prospective!

Author's Response: Thank you! I think this story might be shaping up to be the best yet, but then PoA is such a fantastic book, I had a great base from which to start. The key to the series has always been Neville\'s reactions and choices in situations similar enough to those Harry found himself in. What Neville learned about his parents\' death in this chapter isn\'t all that different to what Harry discovered, but his reaction is quite different, as the next chapter will show in more detail.

Challah and Pumpkin Juice by Calico

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Tzipporah Stein, a Jew living in Vienna, Austria on the eve of WWII, is shocked when she gets a letter telling her she is a witch. The volatile state of Europe as it waits for both a muggle and a wizarding war to begin has prompted Hogwarts to take in students from many countries. How will Tzipporah handle magic, mischief, and even a little romance while trying to be true to her religion and culture at the same time?

yay!! Iove happy endings. This is a really good story! Just like everyone else, I never gave much thought to Harry's grandparents, but of course they had their own story, growing up in the time of a boy Tom Ridde and WWII. Bravo!

Trusted by electronicquillster

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Behind closed doors, in secret dealings, in a world suffocated by fear, only a few dare to fight against what seems the inevitable take over of Voldemort. Percy finds himself drawn into the fight now that he's tried in vain to ignore for so long.

Written for SPEW LoveNotes in 2008.

Awwww so cute!! Percy is a really interesting character. You should write more about him!

The Muggle Muggle Studies Teacher by TheSmirkingDragon

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After being hooked up with a job teaching at Hogwarts by her little sister, Muggle Chastity Fagman is the first Muggle Muggle Studies teacher Hogwarts has ever seen. But after the Headmaster slips about her strictly non-magical status, all of her students know that she can't do anything magical. What will happen in her first class?

This story contains some language not suitable for younger readers and crude humor. Maybe.

Date: 03/25/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

hehe! I like it. Who is the headmaster? Sounds a bit spacey, just like Dumbledore.

Author's Response: I have no clue who the Headmaster is. He\'s surely spacey, though. Maybe needs a good knocking of sense. I suppose I could give it to him. . . .

More Than A Game by Hypatia

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: “Lord Voldemort has never had a friend, nor do I believe that he has ever wanted one.” -Dumbledore, HBP, ch. 13

Dumbledore was rarely wrong, only once did Lord Voldemort desire a friend. It started out as only a game…

First place winner in the Color of Love Challenge.

Nominated for Best Romance Between Other Characters in the 2008 QSQs!

WOW. This is really great! Tom doesn't seem too nice or soft, either. Great job showing that, originally, Voldemort was human! :)

Snivellus and the Head Girl by SeverusSempra

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: The summer after fifth year, Severus Snape realises that he has to decide between Lily and his Dark companions and pursuits. Now all he has to do is get used to life at Hogwarts with no friends, get over his fascination with the Dark Arts, survive the Marauders, and convince Lily to acknowledge that he's alive.

Easier said than done.

I'm really liking this story... it's more plot based than romance based, which is a nice change. Plus I love Snape (of course).

Loved the latest chapter- Lily was well written and I liked your interpretation of Reg. Anyways, update soon please!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review-- glad you're enjoying it. I'm getting close to finishing chapter 15, but real life keeps intervening. :) As for plot vs. romance-- I guess I find that it takes a great deal of plot to bring Lily even remotely close to falling for him, and to make him into someone she could actually fall in love with. They're great characters (thanks to JKR)-- it's fun tweaking with their destiny a bit. :)

Full Circle by Sirenny

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry was pretty sure it had been an unfortunate trick of the light, and therefore dismissed it as stress combined with an unhealthy lack of sleep finally taking their toll on his sanity. The start of the new school year was, undoubtedly, a wonderful thing. Getting his three children onto the train with the bare minimum of fuss, outrage and actual bodily harm was quite another.

Forever Reaching by dulcet_tones

Why her?

Why now?

Coming to terms with what must be done leaves him wondering if the consequences will leave him forever reaching...

Daughter of the Dark Side by Lyra Lestrange

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

Lindsey Tonks appears to be a normal, almost invisible Hogwarts student, but underneath her is someone far from normal. What the world doesn't know is that Lindsey is the daughter of two well-known imprisoned Death Eaters, and has an identity she must hide from the world. Underneath Lindsey is a girl named Lyra Lestrange, a girl who is meant to be a secret forever. But will it last forever?

*Begins in GoF and follows the series through DH.

**Will appeal to fans of the Black family! Prominent characters are Bellatrix, Tonks, Andromeda, Sirius, and (to an extent) Narcissa.

Part Four Synopsis:

It's the summer after Albus Dumbledore's death, and the whole world is falling to Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Broken-hearted Lyra, unable to return to Hogwarts, must go into hiding with her family. It doesn't last long, and eventually Lyra is faced with a choice: join or die. Lyra's decision comes with many surprises, including a new ally who follows her to the final battle of good versus evil. While Lyra's path may seem clear, she finds herself torn between two sides for the final time, and in the end, despite tragedy and loss, Lyra accomplishes the impossible...which defies all of the agreements she and her family ever made.

Three years later, the fic has been completely finished! Enjoy reading it without having to wait for new chapters. Thanks to those who patiently waited and faithfully reviewed!

Ack part 4!! Yay. I feel so sorry for Lyra... but this is going to be her big year, isn't it? I am excited to see what she gets up to.
And she better get back together with Theodore. Seriously.

Author's Response: Haha, she will get back with him in time. I will say that much. This will certainly be a big year for Lyra...haha, I can't say much there, though I'm really tempted to! Thanks for reviewing!

Alexandra Quick and the Thorn Circle by Inverarity

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

Winner of the 2008 Quick Silver Quills Award for Best General Story.

The first book in the Alexandra Quick series.

The war against Voldemort never reached America, but all is not well there. When 11-year-old Alexandra Quick learns she is a witch, she is plunged into a world of prejudices, intrigue, and danger. Who wants Alexandra dead, and why?

This story is canon-compliant with the Harry Potter universe, but the characters and settings are all original. I've put a lot of work into envisioning a world as detailed as the original series; I hope you enjoy it.

Oh my goodnes this is a really amazing story! I've been following it for a while and I am ver very impressed with the writing! The world you imagine for american wizards is so complex and complete, just like the Brittish one. You have really put a lot of thought and consideration int how america would affect the wizarding world. The plot, too, is complex and interesting and the characters are develped, especially Alexandra. I am VERY impressed. Can't wait to read the end of the story!! And what happened to Mr. Journey?

A Different View On Love by helz_belz

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James would do anything to get inside Lily’s head. Lily would do anything to get away from James. Lily was brewing a banned potion. James went to find her. Lily made a mistake and the potion exploded. James got his wish, but is it much more than he bargained for?

Now Complete!

After a year the Epilouge is now up! Come read for a bit of fun!!

Runner up QSQ - Best Chaptered Canon Romance

Reason for Nomination:
This is the most unique take on how James and Lily really got to know each other. The story is hilarious and keeps you laughing throughout, but it never lets you forget the serious stuff. Plus, she somehow manages to end each chapter with a nice cliffhanger.

I just spent over an hour reading this when I should have been working on college applications, and I've been laughing out loud the whole time. SO GREAT.

Among The Flowers, Beneath The Stars by GringottsVault711

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The summer before Rose Weasley's seventh year is not an enjoyable one. Trapped amidst a family she's sure would prefer the boy she's turned down to the one she's given her heart to, the only comfort she finds is in the memories of the last, beautiful week of term, and the knowledge that when the holidays are over, she'll be back in his arms - that is, if he hasn't changed his mind during the summer.

Summary: It is June 1976 and The Marauders are at the top of their game. From the outside they look to have everything. But appearances, as the saying goes, can be deceptive.

The ties of friendship are strong, but war is raging and with a dark power rising those ties will inevitably fray.

Added to the mix is an adversary called Severus Snape, some lost House Points, a prank or two and a whole lot of Lily.

This is a Marauder tale.

This is a story of what made them special.

This is a story of why it started to go wrong for The Lions of Gryffindor.

OH MY GOOD GODRIC! Lions of Gryffindor won the 2009 QSQ for Best Marauders' Era Story. Amazed and incredibly grateful to those who nominated, judged and have beta'd this fic. THANK YOU.

Our Little Secret by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

It was like a wizard tale. The clever Slytherin helps a hag who later repays the debt. Except that Rose Weasley wasn't a hag, and Scorpius didn't expect to call in the favour.

i love this story! Scorpius's character is perfect: still Malfoy-esque, but different than Lucius and Draco at the same time. You are a great writer!!! Keep it up.

Author's Response: Thank you for telling me that! That's exactly what I wanted, to have Scorpius be a Malfoy--and proud of it--but not follow "old ways" or be an incarnation of Draco. :)
