Author's Response: Thank you! I think this story might be shaping up to be the best yet, but then PoA is such a fantastic book, I had a great base from which to start. The key to the series has always been Neville\'s reactions and choices in situations similar enough to those Harry found himself in. What Neville learned about his parents\' death in this chapter isn\'t all that different to what Harry discovered, but his reaction is quite different, as the next chapter will show in more detail.

I'm getting close to finishing chapter 15, but real life keeps intervening. :) As for plot vs. romance-- I guess I find that it takes a great deal of plot to bring Lily even remotely close to falling for him, and to make him into someone she could actually fall in love with. They're great characters (thanks to JKR)-- it's fun tweaking with their destiny a bit. :)

The world you imagine for american wizards is so complex and complete, just like the Brittish one. The plot, too, is complex and interesting and the characters are develped, especially Alexandra. I am VERY impressed. Can't wait to read the end of the story!! And what happened to Mr. Journey?
